Kim:  Great Pic!  It's nice to put a face to a "name".  YOu look beautiful and I love your hair!

Pauletta:  I wore Genie Bras (you can get them a bed, bath and beyond) the entire time.  Never had to go braless.

My RO doc told me to not wear a bra as much as possible and I followed his advice.  I wore cami's and if I felt I needed a bra when I went out I wore a Genie bra!

Day 19 of radiation, I am cooked!  Shoulder blade in the front is peeling, nipple is 20 shades darker, all the area under my arm is dark, dark.  Wouldn't consider this pain by any stretch, just itchy and tender.  Rad tech was surprised at so much color change. Of course I have alot of previous sun exposure in my life which your skin remembers and also since the rads are killing all the skin cells along with everything else and it takes time for cells to re-grow after rads and my continued activity which results in skin rubbing across skin adds to the problems, sloughing of skin cells/skin as I do my outside/inside stuff.  After mowing for several hours on Saturday and being out in the sun (even with a dark colored shirt on), cleaning horse stalls and getting really hot and sweaty, when I got inside I was really red in the rad area.......Today they offered me a script for lidocaine - but seriously as I told the doc an application of that lasts maybe 30-45 minutes, so what's the point? Using several recommended lotions, hydrocortisone for the itch and tomorrow I'm going out and cutting leaves from my huge Aloe Vera plant - peel the leaves that are 2-3 inches wide and just slather myself with aloe sticky and see what happens. Anyone used aloe vera plants for rad skin?
