Radiation Fatigue or the Flu/Cold

I am done with 12 treatments.   The last two days I have been exhausted and my joints are very sore.    Not sure if this is a side effect of fatigue from radiation or the start of a cold/flu.      Rested most of yesterday...watched a couple lifetime movies and hung out on the sofa.  Today just as tired.

Thought it was too early for the fatique from radiation to kick in.....for those that experienced it...when did it occur and how long did it last...and what helped.

    I too hit the wall early--Days 8 & 9 of treatment.  I am working 2/3 time (teaching) and almost had to go lie down in the middle of the day.  I worried that it was going to be a long four more weeks, but I have rebounded pretty well and now anticipate that it will come and go in waves.

    I have also felt achy the last couple of days (after Day 12 of treatment) and have wondered the same thing as you:  radiation or a virus.  I truly don't know.
