LIFE'S A BEACH!

I think here the deer get it before the raccoons!
-
Mum, that looked awfully rocky!!! LOVE the racoon shot...hhehehehe and the "last night" comment...hehehhehe
-
-
this is a few miles from the beach, but it was just so pretty...I must get myself motivated to drive to the shore for a sunset...it is only 20 minutes away...
-
oooh, I could do that in pastels, Lisa!!!!
-
that would be nice..let us see it...
-
here is one I did not take, but I love it..
-
Lisa, so do I!
-
I agree with chubba that the deer gets everything, fruit, veggies, and roses, and tree before the raccoons. Especially here where their habitat is shrinking so fast because of all the development. We often have groups of them running down the neighborhood streets and through the yards. Forget the fences, they are over them in a heartbeat! At least they have not eaten my marigolds, yet!
Lisa love the sunset pics and make me miss getting to see my daughter in Monterey where we would go to the beach every evening and watch the sunsets. She lives in Japan now so I can hardly wait to go see her and watch the sunrises.
I love all the pics and one of these days I will remember to use Chrome instead of Safari and maybe I can post some pictures.
-
Knock, knock, anyone at home? Sure is quiet around here.
-
I'm off to the beach. Later.
-
My computer is in the shop..miss it!
-
Hi there Ladies from Mexico spent all day on the beach.Weather is perfect. If i can figure out my DH's laptop maybe I can download the ohotos I took today.
-
Mum - looking forward to the photos. They are always amazing.
-
-
Oooh, pretty! What is that in the middle of the field???
-
That is another picture from the local newspaper, taken down on our beach. Probably driftwood.
Editted to add: Yes, driftwood. I zoomed in on it and it is a log. The picture was taken from the end of the log.
You can enlarge pics and print by clicking on the little 100% in the lower right of your screen.

MUM....Oh your beachy views!

-
Lisa I love sunsets/rises no matter where they show up at! As for that wave....I wonder how they get those shots mind boggling!
Elisimo I'm here!
Barbe my mother did pastels....I would love to see some of your work.
MUM.....ahhhhh Mexico.....I hope your having a wonderful time!
Chabba I love that sunset! What bird is that?
-
That bird must be made out of metal as you can see through the slots that define the wings and see the water!!!!
-
-
Yeah Barbe....I can see it now....not wide awake yet! I have to catch up on my sleep!
-
julz, the bird is a blue heron. We have a lot of them around here so they are a popular subject for all kinds of art, including metal silhouette sculpture.
-
-
Chabba I wasn't sure....in fact as light can do funny things with different colors on clothing & also fur or feathers...I thought it might be a real interesting play on light on the REAL thing! What ever it's a great artest! Beautiful pic!
Lisa that must be the real deal! Thanks!

They are back in town! It is hunting season so the bucks are in from the hills. They seem to know they are safe in town.
-
In Alaska, the moose line the highway during hunting season. It's illegal to shoot them within a hundred yards of the highway.
