Hi, I know this has been addressed before but I want to get some input before I order a night sleeve.  Have an appointment with a LET/Fitter for Monday.  My swelling is mostly in dorsum of hand, dorsum of wrist where it bends into hand, and sometimes in first joints of fingers.  I think the Solaris Tribute has been mentioned as a favorite and I believe on another thread I read awhile back about a glove- style hand... Is that the right term for it and is that the best option for addressing hand swelling and finger swelling? Any and all input welcome as I have never had a night garment.  I will try and review the old threads but not sure I can find the info again.  Does the sleeve need to go all the way to axilla even though my arm is in control? How easy is it to don?

Thanks

I have a Solaris tribute and also have most of my hand swelling on the dorsum and into the wrist. I have a full length tribute to the axilla, my therapist takes a strong position that you have to move the fluid all the way up to prevent swelling pockets. The tribute works well for me, although I add swell spots from Solaris on my palm to tighten that area. ( it's easier than over wrapping with bandages, which I have also done.) I remember reading in a thread fairly recently that compared the tribute and the jovi-pak but don't remember where I saw it. Sorry!!

The Tribute was my choice, partly because it's made right here in SE Wisconsin! I have the finger/full length version.

I'm thinking about having it resized before the end of the year - I managed to loose a few pounds and the upper arm seems a little loose. I understand they will do that at no charge within the initial 12 months which is good because it is $$$ (luckily, insurance paid 90%): so much easier than wrapping every night.

As I checked this thread I realized I didn't fully answer all the questions. I have a glove style (up to axilla) with finger spacers/separaters and it works very well for my fingers and hand. ( I also have a 2 piece with a separate glove and sleeve, but that one doesn't control the swelling as well as the 1 piece garment. I have problems at the wrist. ) Either way, it's MUCH easier to don than bandages. I just fold it back on itself and roll it up my arm. You can also get pull up loops added and I think I saw on a thread (?) that someone had a zipper added. If you have to bandage at night... This will change your life for the better!!!

Had a consult with new fitter/LET and she took measurements and talked to Jovipak rep on the phone.  Now she has to submit to ins for approval but I think we will be going for the Jovi because of the stitched fingers and the available dorsum and palmar pads.  Hope this works! Edited to add: Thanks to all for the input!
