Shaving

Options

I have another question. Sorry for so many questions but its been just over a week since my BMX and my under arms are getting pretty hairy. I cant shave them or use elctric razor on them. How long before I will be able to shave? Any suggestions on that? I have gone from 2 drains to 4 in just a week of my bmx. I sponge bathe them but thats it.

Hello Gonzard-I am of the belief that you should never be sorry for asking questions! Particularly regarding this process. I can't imagine that the majority of us knew much of anything prior to being forced into this journey. Once here, there is just so much to learn in the midst of being in crisis mode emotionally.

Curious why you can't use an electric razor? It's been just about 4 years for me so I could be jumbling the sequence of events with my less than stellar memory. I know I purchased an electric razor for the express purpose of underarm shaving after my BMX. Am I confused?

Thank you Rekoz! I have learned quite a bit from here! I just started this journey and have so many questions..It seems so much easier to come here for support. I havent ventured out yet to support groups.

I had read something somewhere about not using a electric razor unless ok by the dr. I don't see the him again til weds. I sure hope i am wrong, i need to shave!! I have no boobs and now I have hairy underarms.....i don't want to look like this! :)

I am a big believer in waxing.  I did it before my BMX/reconstruction and asked both my bs and ps about doing it after.  Both of them were fine with it as long as I didn't get burned.  I felt nice and clean and didn't have to worry about cutting myself with all the numbness under my arms.  My very nice lady only charges $10.00 and has never burned me.   You might want to try it especially now that with the numbness you won't feel the slightest pain.
