Dreams about your deceased loved one

My mom passed August 10th of this year and she as only 54. She was my best friend and I miss her terribly. I was having a tough time last night. I cried a lot and was just missing her so much that it hurt! Well, before I woke up this morning I was dreaming about her. She walks in my room in her work uniform and she looks busy. I stand up and say mom I have missed you so much, can I have a hug? She hugs me and I'm crying and she wipes my tears away and says heaven is wonderful, I'm watching over you everyday and heavens time isnt like time on earth it's faster there. She looked beautiful, her makeup was perfect and hair was done. Do you believe spirts come to us in our dreams?

    Yes and if you look for the signs they leave us messages that tell us they are okay.

    wow.  I had pretty much the same dream about my mom.  I posted about it in another thread.  I lost her Oct. 1, 2011 (anniversary is tomorrow and I'm totally dreading it).  She came into a room in my dream, dressed to the nines in her business suit, heels, hair and makeup done.  I, too, asked for a hug and although no words were spoken the message I got was that she was totally fine now and having a ball. 

     The night my grandfather died (we lived with them, he was the closest thing I had to a real dad) and stood at the foot of my bed and said "i'm fine, kid - don't you worry about me".

    Your post gave me shivers, so I'm thinking these dreams have to be true.  Yay!  :)

    I lost my mom 11 yrs ago and to this day she comes to me in my dreams. It usually has the same theme - she is only here for a visit - never tells us where she has been and that she can't stay. I have come to look forward to her visits - I miss her so much.
