Did Hell Freeze Over?

Holy Moly....I had called the pain clinic where I get Lidocaine IV infusions for post mastectomy pain syndrome every nine weeks on Monday to tell the doctor that I have an "official" diagnoses of LE in both arms and truncal. Never heard a word. Here, the receptionist must NOT have contacted the doctor.  I have been telling him and the nurses that I think I had it for a year now and everytime I wanted him to do a foot IV he would literally throw a fit (he is a hyper, loud, jerk who WILL be rude to his patients, and doesn't like to listen...  I complain to the nurses and we have a new saying..."what's said in the room, stays in the room") and continue to do it in the left hand ( I knew the LE was worse in the right arm).

The pre-op nurse called me today to go over meds, medical health, etc etc. I told her I had not heard back from the pain clinic regarding my LE diagnoses. And if, the doctor was going to do an IV treatment (the receptionist said he may not do it). She said she would talk with him right away and call me back. 

Hell froze over!! He is going to do a foot IV!!! I am wearing my sleeves for sure in case he forgets tomorrow  morning . Wish me luck for a stress free doctor tomorrow and that I don't have to do any arguing with him.....
