Taking chemo again...before chemo pain in breast

My mom went from stage 4 cancer to stage 1 within the past 2 years...recently this year she has been experiencing pain in her breast. Very agonizing pain so her doctors are saying that the cancer is back and may be worst. So she has to go through the chemo all over again! Monday she is going to have a biiopsy done. But the following week she may be starting chemo again. I just have one unanswered question, why didnt her doctors remove the lump once the found out that it had shrank? Can I sue the doctors? Or should I just find another one for my mom. I already lost my dad to stomach cancer I do not want to lose her too..

    I don't know what to tell you but I'm sending gentle hugs your way.  It may be time for you to look for another oncologist that will be able to answer your questions a little better.
