Page Display When Opening a Topic

When I click on a topic, I usually want to see the most recent messages. Is there any way to get the topics to open on the last page of messages? Thanks!

    Hi Lou:

    You're right that when you join a topic you've never been to before, you will go to the first post of the thread. However, when you join a thread you have visited, the system is designed to take you to the last post you opened. 

    If you want to go to the last post of a new-to-you thread, there are boxes below the original post, and again at the bottom of the page, that you can click to take you to "Last" for the last page of the thread.

    Thanks Mods. I do use the "Last" button but I guess I'm used to most-recent first or I'm a tad lazy! Smile Also, I've sometimes opened a topic and forgotten I'm not at the end and posted a reply to the wrong msg, in the wrong place. Embarassed But I'm improving ...
