"we used injections in animal testing and are also testing pills" he said "But you could never get enough cannabidol for it to be effective from just smoking".
There is also ingesting in the form of supplemented foods. I think I am up for this challenge!

Like brownies?

According to Wikipedia this SAME group made this SAME discovery back in 2007! I wouldn't hold my breath on this as sooo many other cancer breakthroughs end up like this. The same repetitive story being rehashed years later...with NO clinical trial...like they claim.

Kay, what supplemented foods are you talking about?

lol@ macygrace.....'rehashed' !!!

That's my kind of breakthrough

I teach at an alternative high school. Boy, this would be the best news ever for my students! Yet another reason to legalize marijuana!
-
Well let's face it for a while now some states have made it legal for medicinal purposes and people who have cancer have taken it and thought it relaxed them more than alcohol so it might be just for stress relief which in a sense is a bi funhouse for cancer--loves stress. Did u notice when u work u'r asked for where we work not just for the immune factor, but for the stress factor--so maybe that's why it has gotten the press it has. I don' know after all I don't live in a state where it is legal so I never tried it-Never.

I smoke marijuanna recreationaly as well as using to to help cope with some health issues .
but smoking it... or getting a high from it is not what i believe most research is saying.
you get 600 (approx) times the canabanoids by juicing it then yu would by smoking it. Heating it up.. (even in brownies lol) reduces the canabanoids alot...
FYI... pot was made illegal because the lumber industry wanted to take over the hemp industry..

When I was a teenager my mom wanted all of us (six kids, all old enough) to give blood to the blood bank. She couldn't because she had Hepatitis (A-B unknown she was an operating room nurse before kids). We told her that we would, but only if she also did something for science. There was a marijuana study at our local university. She participated. She learned a lot about herself. Didn't particularly like marijuana, but understood its unique attraction.
Long story short, I 'm 60, have smoked marijuana most of my life since age 19. Less, a lot less, when we had children, and since my dx, a lot more. Not every day. I find that it really helps with nausea and leg cramps. I obviously did not get get enough cannabanoids to prevent mets, but who knows, maybe it is what is keeping me NED. That and docetaxol and herceptin. ;-) -
Personally I don't think it should be illigal but who am I? And I'm glad it gives u some relief and who knows in 5 yrs the studies may show it actually elps, cuz in 5 yrs. the study shows what we got isn't going to stop other parts of our body from failing. So anther crapshoot.
