Stable Lesion, stable boy?

Options

I have had this lesion on my liver since December that hasn't changed. I finally saw a pathology report last week for my August 27th scan and it is reported as stable. When someone refers to "stable boy", does that mean their cancer is not growing? Is that possible to have a cancer that doesn't grow? I assume that is what is meant by "stable boy".

Thank you.

The lesion may not be cancer. Has it been biopsied before? I know my Ct scan shows different stuff but they didnt classify it as cancer.

Winterstorm sorry you haven't had a response but sometimes the boards move so quickly that new post get lost.

To answer your question:- you are correct that when 'the stable boy' is mentioned it means that there has been no change in any of the lesions.

No good news/ no bad news = an affair with the stable boy.

    Hope yours is long........

    Love n hugs. Chrissy
