One year today!!!
Well ladies today I am one year survivor of breast cancer! I'll consider this my anniversary since today is the day surgeon had to go back in to get those clear margins. Wow what a difference a year makes, hair is back and very curl and life went on. I'm not sure my family will realize how important this day is to me cause in the end as much as I love them they just don't understand what I'm feeling or the fear I live in. I'm pretty sure their belief is well treatment complete so she's all good now. But I know all the ladies here get it so that is why I'm posting.
Love this board and you ladies on here and especially the inspiring stories and long term survivors.

That's great and yes I feel the same, my family think I should forget cancer and move on.
Had a big row with DH about this, boy he just doesn't get it.
Really happy for you.

Congrats Katy! I'm right there with you. My one year is tomorrow. Guess what, we survived the first year. I hear it gets easier.
I'm hoping the fear dissipates with each day, month and year.
What a huge blessing this forum has been this past year. The ladies here are incredible. Thank you! -

Wahoo Chris! SOOO happy for you and glad to see you are doing well. I'm not far behind you, ironically I let my diagnosis date slip by this year (just 2 days ago). Perhaps that's a sign I'm TRYING to put some of this behind me! My surgery was in November so hopefully I'll be posting my 3 year victory then. Keep praying for me!
Love you!
