Hot flashes and tamoxifen

I'm 49, been on tamoxifen for 7 months, hot flashes started right away. About two months my hot flashes stopped. Anyone this happen to?

One of my docs said that the tamox SEs can stop or lessen after 3-4 months. (as your body learns to adjust). Maybe that's what happened to you. FWIW, there's another, very active forum (higher up on the page) that's dedicated to Hormone Therapy. If you post a thread there you may get more responses.
