Dear Christy,
I am sorry that the cancer has progressed. I am hopeful that the radiation tx will help rid the pain. I am confident that your drs will find the right combo that will get you to NED.
HUgs and Prayers,
Lexi

Christy dear!!! I am too sorry for the news. I wish you lots of strength and optimism in beating this.. Hugs
-
Oh Christy, I am sorry to hear this. It sounds like you have a plan to be aggressive, and I wish you all the best fighting back at the mets. You are very kind to us, even when you're the one going through what we all fear! Sending lots of prayers and hugs to you.
-
Kristy,
I was really hoping that you were going to get 100% good news. I'm so so sorry.

Saw this on stage IV before I saw it here - I am overcome by your caring attitude towards others, anacortesgirl - the first thing you thought of was to reassure the rest of us amidst you own pain. Wish cancer had been as merciful with you.
-
Christy, WTH. I'm so sorry you got this news.
It sounds like you have an agressive onc who already has a plan. Let's get those spots outa there and get NED, ok?
{{hugs!}}

Shoot, Christy, that's not the news you wanted to hear. Let us know the plan of action to fight it.
We've sure have had our share of 15%ers lately. -
Christy- I just want to say how very sorry I am. Crap, crap, crap....
-
Christy, I am so sorry sweetie. I really hate to hear this, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
-
Thinking of you Christy and sending cyber hugs your way.
We are all here any time you need us.
-
Thank you - it means a lot to hear from my sisters. There is so much more to find out but you know how the waiting game goes.
Told my brother and SIL the day we found out. Went over to my Mom's and told her today. Just need to call up the kids and tell them. Much harder conveying this message than the original dx. -
Christy, Been thinking about you, knowing that these are tough times and not knowing what to do to help. Just sending more hugs. G.
-
So sorry you got this crappy news. We're all pulling for you.
-
Christy, Just popping in to say hi and let you know you are in my thoughts. Sending positive vibes. G.

Thanks Gitane.
Had the bone biopsy today. I'll get the results in three weeks unless something significant shows up like HER2 +. He is also sending a tissue sample to OncoPath. I need to research them, but apparently they are looking at genes that have promising drugs. If they find a match then I'll have an opportunity to get on a trial.
I liked the way the once put it today - Get your affairs in order just because it's the right thing to do. But plan on living for a long time. -
So glad you wrote back Christy. I hope your bone biopsy went easily, like any procedure is easy, well... you know what I mean. The OncoPath thing has been mentioned here and there on the boards. Three weeks seems like a long time, but if OncoPath is looking at genes, makes sense it would take some time. I'm curious now; guess I'll go into research mode. Looks like you have a practical, up-to-date, compassionate oncologist. That would be hugely important to me, so I'm glad it's in place for you. I hope you will let us know how you are doing. We care about you! Sending you good thoughts, G.

Healing prayers coming your way. You are truly a strong caring woman and I know you can beat this.
