    Reserved draft one

'C&P'd barbie's vision statement to get things moving.

    Vision Statement:

To bring full awareness of the reality of breast cancer to the general public; the surgeries, the treatments and the horror that there is NO cure. To ensure that proceeds donated to the cause are publically noted and distributed in an appropriate manner for the community in which the funds were raised. To keep corporations accountable for the use of pink products and the medical field driven to move the cure closer to the finish line.

FOCTOBER - never forget, never pink!

TETWP program Identified by DLB above is uniquly different than other organizations. How it works in the rodeo /western community. A group wanting to do a fund raiser contacts TETWP. The group defines the fundraiser and where the funds raised will be sent too. TETWP allows the group to use TETWP's Trademark Marketing  for the groups campaign. Upon completion of the fundraiser, the group informs TETWP how much was raised and where they are sending there money. TETWP adds that to there total of funds raised (12 million as of2012), but no funds actually go through them. The funds go directly to the named recipient from the local group. If the local group does not have a designated receipient, TETWP requests it be sent to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 99% of funds raise stay in the local community where the event took place.

They do not want direct donations. They are not 501c3 approved and don't want to be. They use their Trademark Marketing Campaign Machine to help locals get the word out and raise funds. Bless them.

    1. Does any money from this purchase go to support breast cancer programs? How much? (My addition--% to recipient and/or % administrative costs)

    2. What organization will get the money? What will they do with the funds, and how do these programs turn the tide of the breast cancer epidemic?

    3. Is there a "cap" on the amount the company will donate? Has this maximum donation already been met? Can you tell?

    4. Does this purchase put you or someone you love at risk for exposure to toxins linked to breastcancer? What is the company doing to ensure that its products are not contributing to the breastcancer epidemic

You would think that Estee Lauder of all companies would be more concientious of their product. I love my Beautiful perfume. I'm going to miss it. I've been researching make up lately. It's enough to make you crazy.

After seeing the Sweet Georgia Brown videos on YouTube I know what my BC shirt will say - Breast Cancer - Aint' nobody got time for that! :-)
