lump near elbow

Hi Everyone,

Feel good but around my elbow there is too much fluid. Kind of like a lump. I put extra padding at night and today put it in my sleeve also. The swelling is all gone except this stubborn spot. Any ideas???

    Hi Jinky,

     That is where my LE tends to show. Can you wrap yourself? A sleeve won't help reduce fluid, just keep it from getting crazy. When I feel a flareup, I go to my PT and she does a great lymphatic massage to get the fluid out. Then I make sure to keep up the home massage to keep it out.

    If you know anyone that can do kinesiotaping, I find that often works well to drain stubborn spots.

    it's coming......another few days.....we can't give up because when we think we can't take any more it happens!!!!!!le hugs jinky

    Jinky did you find something that worked? I just developed a pad of fluid on the point of my elbow...very wierd feeling. Massage doesn't seem to do anything to reduce it. Overall, the rest of my arm hasn't changed since last Spring, just this new little "bubble".
