Node removed, scan done and now waiting......
Hi,
I had a node removed on Tuesday 29/11. Scans yesterday (30/11) and now the waiting.....
I feel it's worse than finding out the diagnoses.
I am hoping and praying for a positive outclome (no spread).
Let's see what Monday brings

I am really sorry to see you had a recurrence. I remember I was terrified going through the scanning process. Try to stay calm, deep breathing and prayer.

Thank you everyone. Great news! Scans came back all clear! NED for me.
Herceptin has been stopped as they don't beleive it's working.
I'll take it as it has worked as there was no spread.No further treatment for me, but I have been refered for regular checkups.
So now the preventative `work` starts with conviction. Honouring my body and releasing any dis-ease causing feelings and thoughts.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been 'relishing' all that life brings. Checkup on June was clear and my next is scheduled for December. A decision will be made around removinkg the port o cath. Looking forward to that too.
