Hi everyone. I haven't been around for a few days becuase I've been a total nut job. Still am. Raving lunatic most of the time. Crying the others... I can't even read about Marybe, even though I didn't know her on here. I'm crying thinking about her family. And for you, Nancy.
I can't go on, I'm just going to cry some more. Have to try to go to sleep... -
Flat possums!!!! LOL!!! Oh dear....we feed the wild ones but in Wi that's crazy talk...they shoot them. Its horrible!! We have herds of rednecks 'round these parts.
Nancy...I'm saddened with Marybe passing. It just happened so fast. I have told my family (for years) that when I'm gone from this body, I will be with them. Not even death could keep me from them. I believe this.
Awwwww....you got your squishy!! You're too funny! I'm super glad it went well!!
I was in a little meltdown mode today...I'm coming around now. Long icky story short...I'll probably never get any sort of disability. So I have to smile and say that sucks monkey balls!! Monkey balls!!! LOL Those have to be pretty small, right?
More funny pictures please!!! -
((((Hugs Lauren))))
Some days....its a big hill... -

To all who had the honor of knowing "Marybe", she passed away today..............God Bless her........she died peacefully with her family around her and Barbara A, by her side..............

Went to endocrinologist today, long drive, did well, very good results and easy fixes. Sassy, the bee didn't leave a stinger, weird bee. Love that oppossum, we have a skunk, sweet things. Fuzzy, the Healing Hill sounds like the place to be, did you name all the trails? Dunes, what a summer you are having, fun! Summer is not really over until the 22nd, hang in there and hope you like the new look. Nancynow, you hang in there too, this is the hardest part, when they leave us here. Yes, Ducky, God bless Marybe and her family, godspeed to her where she is being welcomed home.
Heading to bed in a few, long day and early one coming up.
Last night I had a very interesting dream about Tom Hanks, he was sugar coated. I will leave you all to think on that, no time to tell it all now hahahaha

Mzmerz, even though your screen name is spelled differently it always makes me think of my wonderful 5th grade teacher. Mr Mertz helped me through a very difficult, awkward, and confused period of my life.

LoveEssa...I have a sweet tooth with Tom's name on it!! LOL Can't wait to hear what your dream means!!!

What a wonderful woman that Marybe. I'm truly impressed by the love that so many have sent her way. She is a gift and will be missed dearly.
I'm going to see my youngest tomorrow. We are doing much better. It takes me a really long time to "recover" from events. I think tomorrow will be quite nice.
My Baby Boy had a play date tonight with a neighbors pooch. They Had a Blast! My DH was right....he's much too spoiled to have us get another one. He's so good and such a lover...play dates are just fine.
Night night everyone...sweet dreams. -
I had a long discussion with my sweet southern mama last night about medical marijuana. LOL not a normal discussion topic for us. It kinda freaked me out a little. I was sure it would turn into a debate....now I'm really wondering if she was interested in obtaining it! LOL she's a trip!

I don't remember a lot of people on bco who are not within my immediate circle of threads. But I remembered Marybe. Perhaps it is how she put it all on here, her intimate self, what she liked to do in her spare time, her health trials and life experiences and wildest hopes. I remembered her. Have not said a word on other threads, left it for those who were in that immediate circle, said nothing here, but I know that like many of us who were not within the immediate circle of her threads, I have watched, cried, hoped, wondered and worried. So to all of us who read this thread and for those who don't say one word but feel the same, I echo godspeed, Marybe, once again. Her energy is still with us, though she will still be sorely missed. There I said what I felt I needed to say, I am sad, acknowledged it.

GrannyDukes K - we need your dream symbols.
What does a sugar-coated celebrity mean?
Okay, the dream was quite serious but I just had to leave a teaser line. And such as long dream, at moment don't recall the beginning 75%. I remember, there was a pond in the dark and people were along one wall, me too I think, and I witnessed a man come out of the pond, he had been swimming underwater the entire way then surfaced next to us...... I thought then that he was perhaps Latino, round face, curly hair, loose curls, short hair. He had a baby girl who looked to be black, very dark-skinned and curly hair, though she could have been any ethnicity, she was about 9-mo old and was clinging to the front of his shirt and chest, she had been under the water the entire swim, not knowing she had to take a breath for the swim across like an adult would know. She did not cry, she was wet and cold and he was not attentive. I was concerned but could not say anything for some reason. But she was alive, I know she was. We were all escorted into a friendly police car. I felt the era was 1930s. The man who had crossed the pond underwater was a police officer, it seems. And he was outside the car when Tom Hanks, about 40-year-old version, leaned in the car door, he was all shimmery sugar-coated in the streetlamp light. I recognized his voice, soothing, all would be well. I only know we were being taken to safety though we had been thought to be causing crime or trouble of some sort, we were not criminals and we were being aided. Interesting to me, hindsight, I was contacted by a man who wanted info on cancer tx I know a little about. I wrote an answer for him then I was attempting to use another tab to check who he really was before sending the answer, but the answer was lost bcz my computer went down before I could get on his information and I had no idea if he was a good or bad man, just an inquisitive one who seemed on the same page as I am. I went to bed and had the dream. The next morn, posted about the dream here and answered the man again, first though checking his personal info, he was a good man... and he has a tremendous fascination with the Underground Railroad --- which I also have a high interest in and have written about when I was publishing for NW IN and writing features. Never once did I consider the connection until this morning when the dream hit me again.
Anyway, looking for symbols of dreams in context and or content. I know what it seems to mean to me, but open for these symbols too.
Fuzzy - dog parks are fun too, but they concern me bcz I always think what if the other dog is not friendly or polite and mine gets rough end. Danny Boy would love to charge around one of those. We did buy a wireless fence that he responds to but afraid he will charge throuugh when he is happy and not come back cuz it stings him. His problem is no recall, he thinks we will follow him and we won't. He runs off and I learned to turn around and go other way, use his anxiety of separation on him. Or I hide and he is going what the? and comes to find me. The other trick is laying down to get his attention which I have not used bcz he is 145-pounds and might pounce on me and anyway if he did or not, I still probably could not get back up so easy if I were down in the middle of a field even w coyotes or a blue racer snake after me. I too am hesitant on another dog or skunk, it is too peaceful as is, for the time, we are only us.

Ok...I don't get to say this often enough...but I had a really good day. Me and DD had a wonderful afternoon...we laughed and talked about stuff that was bugging us...we walked around the campus a bit and I bought her a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin spread...she was very happy. She even texted me to tell me how much fun she had. We're not only back on track, but I think it's even better...might be comparable to not eating for a week and then the first thing you eat is the best thing you have everhad...yeah, that's about right. My belly has been all F'd up since the incident - still is. hopefully I can get to feeling better now.
Nancy...I love to make you laugh!! YAHOO!! Yeah, I'm not on the drugs either, but I think my mom would smoke it if she could. That woman has so much pain, I wouldn't blame her a bit. She's comical without dope...if she was on it I think I'd bust a gut! I think about you a lot. How are you? You have inspired me...remind me to tell you about that sometime.
Any dream with a sugar coated Tom Hanks is alright by me...lol...glad the child was still alive. I can't wait to have that disected.
Hey...where is everyone? Where'd everybody go?
LoveEssa...I worry about the dog park too. Dogs can go there if they have kennel cough or arn't vaccinated...I get real nervous about that kind of stuff. He's just so dang special. My DH cracks the garage door and let's the Baby hang out in there...well, after DH got back from golfing, the Baby had escaped!! OMG. DH was sick to his belly and so mad at himself because of it. The Baby was fine and lucky he stayed around the house...but he is a wanderer. I love big doggies. 145 = big doggie!! LOL That's a lot of love. Marybe was an incredible woman. I too admired her silently...didn't get in the circle...I'm not as fluffy and such (not that that's a bad thing...) and I didn't want to post. But, a true beauty has left us. I'm glad you were able to post here. That is very sweet for you to feel for her the way you do...she had that gift. I posted to her and didn't hold back...I cried. I didn't want to believe what was happening to her...it's been a terrible past couple of months for some of our sisters. Rips my heart out. Big healing hug to you.
GG? Veggy? Granny? Mama? Special? Sas? Crog? All the Romeretters...OMG...we have so many that are MIA...Well, I hope everyone is ok. Maybe they have found the "Tom Hanks Sugar Trail"?
Ok...another serious addiction I have....Honey Boo Boo. I love that kid. She's a riot. Maybe it's because my family is southern but...they crack me up. And, her mama loves her so much. It's just sweet in a very hillbilly sort of way. I must be messed up....I watch the craziest stuff. In one day I'll go from RuPaul's Drag Race to the Manson Family Murders...to Honey Boo Boo, Gater Boys and the Turtleman.
Lauren..how you doin' sweetie?

So I am partial to Dean Cain - the Superman from the 80's. Who's your man?
-
George Clooney. Was an ER fan from the beginning, actually liked Anthony Edwards too...hmmm...please dont make me choose lol
-
HAHAHAHAAAA!!!! JOHNNY DEPP!!! YEAH!!!
I was watching Honey Boo Boo too...I don't like the episode that was on because they get rid of her baby pig and she cries...I just want to hug her...but then the mom and dad throw a huge party to make her feel better...so sweet...but I cannot watch her cry. I'm a softee.
Yeah...big big classy people...NOPE! It's the craziest show to date. A pregnant 17 year old, Sugar Bear, the train tracks that are in their back yard...washing their hair in the sink....LOL Brings back memories for me!! HAHAHAHAHAAAA
-
Rider...you can have both...because we love you.
I'd like to order a young Sean Connery, a Matthew McConnehy (intentional spelling error as I really don't care what his name is - I have no intentions of talking to him...muhaha), and that guy who plays the elf in Lord of the Rings...I apparently have no rhyme or reason to my selections...LOL
