How to wear a wig?

Options

I got my wig today. It's really nice, but I can't figure out how to get it to stay on well? Alo the lace in front shows because the wig has no bangs. I looks fine with a hat on, but it seems that would get really hot. Any suggestions?

I got some wig tape that attached to the inside of my wig and to my head. This was several years ago, and I got them the same place I got my wig. I saved a little bag of them. They are called 'New Man' 3/4" strip secure transparent tape from a company called International Hairgoods, Inc. If you can't find something locally, you can maybe google them. With the tape, mine stayed on very well, even in the wind at track meets and football games.

My wig had bangs, so I don't know about that part of it. (Although there are some hats WITH bangs that are cute). Best of luck!

I just wore inexpensive wig caps under my wigs and they stayed on fine. I tried an expensive gel strap thingy -- supposed to be cooler -- but didn't have much success with that. I had to adjust the straps at the back, particularly on the wigs that were donated. My wigs had bangs so I can't suggest anything there. Except maybe ... I wore narrow scarves like a headband (70s look!) with one of my wigs because I didn't like the bangs, and actually received a lot of compliments.

Did you buy the wig; if so, why not ask the seller for suggestions? I bought one wig, online, and the seller answered a bunch of questions by email.
