I Come to the Garden...

Coming to the Garden to let you all know I keep you in my daily prayers. I am working 2-12 pm and not much time to be on the computer. I posted the other day but there was a gliche. I am headed to NYC (Sloan) for my annual visit. Hopefully same outcome as last year (all clear) my DD is coming with me and we will make the best of our little trip to the Big Apple. My GS is getting so big he is 20 months now and talking a lot and is so entertaining. So, glad I moved home even if I have to live and work like I am 25 again. Had to get a room-mate to make ends meet, but she is my age and a lovely person. Haven't gotten divorced officially yet so still have good insurance for my breast care, thank God.
Love and Peace of mind to all my friends,
Linda

just here for a minute, but asking for prayers for Marybe.. she's been hospitalized, due to a medical mess up. she's gone into renal failure, which CAN reverse itself. the problem is she's in Congestive heart faailure, and not doing well. she's up walking with assistance, but can't breathe weell, so is all poopped out, and kinda out fo it..
i know my saviour knows all this, but put a prayer in for her. selfishly, I'M not ready to let go, even if she/He is... 3jays
-
3jays, I certainly don't think Marybe is ready to let go. From recent emails I've gotten from her, she is certainly frustrated but still anxious to get to Europe. She has her carrot. I hope it's enough with God's help to keep her fighting.
-
Prayers going up for Marybe, she's such a sweet lady.

i put an update on red devil thread, but with walking her, they're worried.. her bp is REALLY low, and breathing difficult.. she's really tired.

Prayers for Marybe.
I like your last post, 3 Jays.
-
LOVE that post 3jays!!

And, it doesn't fail me, in this, either.. I spoke with marybe today, and she was a little better. its' early yet, the afternoon is the worst part..
they're measuring her for compression stockings, today. the cardio, who's really good.. said he thinks she wasn't in heart failure at all, that they weren't watching her kidneys close enough..
her creatinine levels have come down sugnificantly, so its now looking much better..
thank you so much for the prayers.. for both of us.i was really scared, she was so weak a few days ago, she didn't care, but boy.. today she was fussing at Tim, and yelling at me that she didnt want anyone to come down.. i was going to try to..
im afraid if i did go, she'd "push" herself, so im stayign still
i'll be talking to her tommorrow, so i'll letcha know how she does...3jays

Marybe is in a coma ladies. Need prayers! see Between the Devil ( the red one) and the deep blue sea (in forum Chemotherapy - Before, During and After)
-
I'm very sad.
-
Oh no, I'm so sad to see this. Marybe was one of the first ladies to welcome me to these boards and we've posted back and forth about my P-I-G.
Praying for her,
LaDonna

the coma was discussed between her, and her hubs, Tim while she was still consious.. Tim sent Barbara A an email to all of us, and you can read it on the Red Devil thread.. they didn't think there was any hope, her heart lungs were involved, and it was her choice to induce the coma. Barb A flys out today, (my heart breaks, but mybody just won't make a fast trip) but she will keep us informed....3jays

Marybe has maintained her dignity all along. She will pass with grace. She has also denied a ventilator. May God hold her gently as he takes her home.
-
on about 1:10 today, our beloved Marybe passed on. she was surrounded by family and friends, and our dear Barbara A was one of them..
Marybe died as she lived, peacefully, but on her own terms..
Barbara said she'd post later..
please pray for her friends, her beloved Daddy, and her husband Tim as they, like us, will try to live without her shining light...........3jays

Devastating news even though expected. I wish her peace and will be thinking of her joyous Reunion with our Lord and her loved ones who have gone before her.
-
When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more,
And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore,
And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. Refrain:
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. On that bright and *sabbath morning when the dead in Christ shall rise,
And the glory of His resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies,
And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun,
Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
Then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done,
And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. -
Amen

Thanks for the great pictures of dear Marybe 3jays.....did Harley ever get to Hospice to be with her the morning she passed?
-
Barbe, BarbA said yes, Harley got there. he was a bit put off because she didn't smell "right" but he loved her just the same. I think the account is on the red devil thread.

That's Sweet.
God send blessings in so many different ways.
This year my car has to be "smogged" before I can register it and The last time I did, they said I would need a new catalytic converter. I went to a shop where I was told I would get a fair deal. Well, in CA we have to have different "cats" than the rest of the states so the only place to get the one I need was through the dealer. I was lamenting to a coworker that the shop he (a our mechanic at work) recommended, had quoted me $1,200. He said it was a shame I didn't have a friend who was in an auto business becausethey could purchase it cheaper and he could put it in for me for a sweet deal. Well we do have a friend who could be the part for us and on Friday , on his day off, Kevin from work put it in for me. The part cost $340 so I thought $300 to put it in would be 1/2 price and I'd be happy with that. When I picked up my car, Kevin told me I owed him $40!!!!! I wonder if he realizes what a blessing he has been to us! He and his little boys are getting a box of homemade cookies tomorrow as well as a tip.
-
Thanks Joni, that means a LOT to me to know she saw Harley. I'm sure the smells did put him off, but glad he realized it was Marybe under all those 'bad' smells.
Meece, that is a GREAT thank you to Kevin as his whole family can enjoy it.
-
-
Keeping you all in my prayers.
-
Thanks Meece, same here. Guess we've all kinda had the wind taken out of our sails, or are just too busy to post much.
-
I agree with Joni. I rarely get depressed but lately I have been. Personally most devastating was the loss of my brother and then our loss of our Marybe. Some of my SE's related to hormonal treatments have intensified and now I have a report from my Mammo last week that says there is something there that is "probably" B9, so back to 6 mo check ups. Prayer, not just for myself but for others, and meditation help. I think about the happy times I've had with my brother and the good times we have had on BCO with Marybe. It helps.
-
Chabba, I don't think you posted that your brother lost his battle. I'm sorry.
