Crazy post-UMX question

Options

Ok this may be a ridiculous question. I am having a UMX on 9/7, no recon. I am a D cup. When I sleep on my mast side, does the remaining big boob just flop all the way down? This was my big question during last night's edition of my nightly insomnia sessions. I have seen there are "breast pillows", is this what they are for??

Ladyhoo- I had a right UMX without recon in february 2011. I don't have D cup…. more of a C cup but since the surgery I have to sleep with a body pillow on my left side for comfort. Good luck with surgery.

I had my UMX on 8/10, no recon (yet) and I am a C-cup.

When I lie on my mastectomy (right) side, my breast does go a bit to the right side, but not a lot. I just checked and it's not even touching my incision area at all, it's still about 1" away. So I guess basically I would not expect it to move as much as you might imagine.

Good luck on your surgery. Mine went very well overall.

It's a good question...I too had to use a small pillow just to "fill the missing place" or my shoulder would hurt the next day. I still hug a pillow to my chest, 9 months later, it is comforting.
