BC Support Group focus on LE

The BC support group at St Josephs Hospital in Tampa, FL is having a Speaker about LE on 9/13 at 6:30pm.  The speaker is OTR/L, CHT, UE-CLT, RYT presenting "Lymphedema Management - What You Need to Know."

    Too many bc support groups are afraid to talk about it for fear of "upsetting" women. Helloooooo?! Knowing about it is more upsetting than waking up some morning with an aching, swelling arm?!!! NOT!Yell

    St Joe's also holds for cancer patients - Restorative Yoga, Art class/creation event, Exercise classes, Loof Good-Feel Better events, in addition to the monthly BC support group meetings.  There's always a different topic and guest speaker. They do a great job at being supportive.

    It did surprise me that the support group is all topic and isn't about helping each other with their feelings.  Oh well, that's where my behavioral health therapist comes in.  Cool
