Gracie....rest assured, almost every post I post is sarcastic/humorous/tongue in cheek. I'm well aware that anything can be interpreted by the reader and this is often why I refuse to post on many threads...I don't "drink the koolaid" but I do play fair. I am greatly interested in natural cancer fighters and would like to see my children retire from their careers in 50 years. If I wasn't interested in this topic, I wouldn't have posted at all. If I thought I would irritate anyone...I wouldn't have posted at all. If you've never been smacked on a thread because you unintentionally offended someone, you may be upset that I've posted this. But, if you have that dreadful experience, then you'll know exactly where I'm coming from.
Tipping my tea glass in your direction. Cheers. -
I'm glad to see there are researchers that are really checking this out--u never know where things come from--They say the universe supplies answers, but they have to be found.
OK off the topic kind of but useful. My Dad came from Italy and he said his village was avery healthy one where there wasn't a big need for Drs. or going to hospitals and it was a very kind village--people just got along and when he came here when he was older he really didn't want to--He loved it there. He said it was beautiful filled with fields of flowers and the colors were georgeous. And everone picked the flowers for beauty and for health. They would strain certain things out of them and add it to tea and everyone drank tea during the day and wine at night. EVERYONE well the red flowers were poppy seed flowers so the seeds were used in tea. My sister and I were LOL so much and we said did u know u were on dope growing u as was u;r village. And my Dad said who cared we all felt good and were healthy. So my point is plants are mysteries sometimes and seeking out what they can do has to be difficult--well not for my dad's village--they figured it out right away. LOL
-
Camillegal, good for your dad and his village! I bet they ate more fish than red meat. Just guessing but that could account for their robust health also.
-
Oh Fuzzy, I've had the experience....I totally know where you're coming from. With all the altie slamming going on around here, I just wanted to "get it out there", that we're not all naive and nutty. Now that I've re-read my post, it seems I owe you an apology. Didn't intentionally direct it at you; just a general observation. So sorry....don't even know why I started it with your name. I am sad to read that inadvertant remarks like mine would keep you from posting. My bad.
Camillegal, ain't it the truth. So many folkloric secrets that we never take seriously, but probably should.
Couldn't help but think today that with all this junk with Lance Armstrong....maybe that's the secret....juice yourself up and you CAN beat cancer. How nuts is that?
Anyhoo, ladies, sorry to barge in on the Stage III forum, but thanks for all the info and wishing good health to us all. Going to give it a try...see what happens. Thanks for everyone's efforts in tracking this sucker down!
-
Yorkimom actuallu they did and lots of veggies and fruit--meat was on occasion and in our home too when I was growing up--but I missed the poppy seeds---My dad lived to be 96 and and wine every day (red) who knows, his sister too 95--but they followed no rules just enjoyed life and food (Italians)
-
I have a very wise herbal lady currently looking into this in Oregon...... She can get lots of weird stuff....
I will keep y'all posted. -
Camillegal, I adore Italy and Italians. La dolce vita!
-
Kayb and Mandalab, yes please, keep us posted! Very interested!! Thank you!
-
Yes, I did a search yesterday and the only things I found other than the news article was from India. And even those were not encouraging. One product came up that had a big long list of ingrdients and the fagonia was one of them. So it searches start to bring up the stuff available everywhere then you know they are taking advantage of the recent news. When I did the search I clicked through 5 pages and just really couldn't find anything. There was one place where you had to enter info and ask a question but I didn't do it. Then I decided to just do a search for herbs that kill cancer and made a list. I will get as many as I can find and take them all! If each one works a little it will all add up and I will be cured! Haha! I can hardly wait!
-
Gracie...you're awesome. Much love sister! Thank you for your understanding. How wonderful you are to even respond. Thank you so much.
I always wished I was Italian! I admire that culture. Raised around it...but never in it: ( -
Darn. Well I know there's other good stuff out there. Just a matter of trying them out. My gosh the research takes hours and hours. I know I need to take a break from it but I feel compelled, like I can't stop until I have an answer that makes me really believe I can rid myself of this!
-
I have a herbologist friend, who has family in India.. i am looking into getting more info..
but imo.. the reason why we dont hear about this.. is there is no money to be made in "cures"
Big Pharma , has a nice monopoly on our lives... good or bad.
-
I would rather just try the tea.
-
I called a few places, including the one mentioned on the other thread. The first two were stricly wholesalers and the one who was willing to send some for personal use sounded really sketchy. He was willing to ship immediately. Being thorough, I spoke to my friend in customs, who assures me that something like this would never be able to cross the border unless it was being sent to a physician or research facility. Not that I believed he was going to send the real product anyway. Every question I asked this dude, the answer was yes, including getting it to North America.....so liar! Had it gotten here, I'm sure it would have been parsley or something. So back to square one. Kay and Celine...I'm counting on you guys! Kay, any information after speaking to the Aryuveda school? Celine, does your herbologist friend have any info? I know my doctor would be willing to "prescribe" it to get it here. The problem is finding a clean, reliable source. This really shouldn't be this hard.
-
P.S. If the Stage III ladies are uncomfortable with me posting here, please....please, let me know (by pm if necessary) and I'll stop..and I won't take it personally, promise. I feel uncomfortable posting here, knowing you guys can't post on the IV forum. Makes me feel kind of icky.
-
Gracie, you are very welcome here on this board! We are all in this together!!
-
not to be to nosy but...
who what why, cant a stage III post on stage IV forum?
And my friend Christina is reasearching it now.. her mum in law in india will send some if we ask..
-
OMG I never thought of that--the stage III never ask me to leave and I post alot with with u guys--I too am sorry if it's an intrusion I personally don't pay a lot of attention to the stages---Maybe only 1 reason made us different--we're all on the rode to find help and comfort so to me (MY OPINION< ONLY) we are all as they say sisters in this horrid disease. All of u ave always been nice to me so I just didn't think about it either.
-
Celine--personall some of us don't really care if u post---but I think this is the reason some feel Stage !V is the roughest because it is a desth sentence so other stages wouldn't understand what we go thru and sometimes coming in offer suggestions or maybe just post to be kind and encouraging. Now I don't know if it's the rules of the mods. or just personal feelins of some but other stages don;t understand what feeling we have about deathe and Stae IV is terminal---ick I wish they'd staet a Stage V, then stage IV wouldn't be so bad LOL sorry maybe that was bad taste.--but there are a lot of Stage IV that are doing OK--no one knows for how long, but they are working and living their life so that's the reason that I understand.....doesn't mean I am right Celine.
-
Celine, I wonder....will it get to Canada you think? Customs says no non-indiginous plants allowed. Sending seeds maybe? Jeezus, I'd hate to see someone go to jail for this. I don't want Christina's mum-in-law to get into trouble sending a plant.
-
Gracie that's all we need---Front page -Woan goes to jail for a plant to help cancer patients. OMG what a plan we're hatching up.
-
Everyone is welcome as far as I am concerned.
I checked around, and it looks like the stuff grows both in Crete (cretica, you know) and in Cyprus. I will have a Cypriot friend check it out. -
Oh this is starting to sound more and more like a true crime episode LOL
-
All by itself is what I would like to try! I'm already taking the drugs I need to. I want the tea! I did not know about the not posting on different stages forums, except I did see that it says at the top stage 4 ONLY and I wondered why that was. I will say that when I was first diagnosed stage 2 I was so terrified and depressed and I only wanted to hear about people that were doing ok now, because the possibilitly of mets was just too scary and I needed to keep an optomistic attitude. I realize now that it may have not been the best decision because I have learned so much from stage 4 sisters that I have never known before about this shitty disease. And knowledge is power imo. Sorry to get off the subject. Thanks to everyone looking into this mysterious tea!

My one boss is Indian and his parents have moved back to and are now living in India. His mother has cancer and initially came to the US for her treatments, but then they went back and she has doctors she sees there, but is not in active treatment. I am going to ask him if he can check into this. I am not thinking this will cure me, but am willing to try anything that will give me more years.
-
MARYBE-----why did she come here for treatment ifthey have that there???
-
Just a comment on the stage IV forums....at the top of them it states the purpose...to me, this is sacred ground and their place only. Yes, we are all sisters but they are experiencing life that I don't believe anyone who isn't there can understand.
That being said, I have great respect for all and everyone's journey. -
KAYBE---this is starting to sound like drug code---CONNECTION??? TEA??? STAGES???? PLANTS? We're going to get in ttrrrooouuubbblllee hahahaha
Like we're not on enough drugs
-
My guess that she did not do that treatment there is perhaps she never heard of it or maybe she came here because her other son worked at the James Cancer Center in Cols and he recommended she get treatment in the States. I know my boss does not think that much of the treatment in India, but there again, i don't know if he's ever heard of this stuff. I will ask him.
