Do you ladies feel "off" when you have a bad le flare, almost like you're coming down with something?  I know I'm not sick, but this is a bad flare and I definitely feel "off".....more fatigued and just weird.

I generally feel down when I have a bad flare and that leads to feeling fatigued. But if I really think about it, I think it's just that I'm feeling sad. My worst flares seem to come after I've spent a lot of time outside on hot days so they may be related to dehydration which can also make you feel fatigued.  I'm sure others will be along with their experiences.

I hope that you get this flare under control soon!

djls, flu-like symptoms are a sign to watch out for cellulitis, and so is new swelling. You might want to re-read the "emergencies" page so you'll be aware of what to watch for. It's here:

Aside from that, flares do have a depressing affect on many of us, and they make me feel way more upset than anyone around me thinks I should.EmbarassedFrown

Rest up, drink plenty, keep a careful eye on things and get help at once if you suspect infection. And for goodness sake keep us posted!

    Gentle hugs,
