I'm still here and terrified - more advice please

Have posted a few times since last Thursday. Have been having weird feelings in breast - tingling and sort of itching and occasional pains. Then four red spots came up and faded but have left what looks like a line of slightly redder skin - only really faint.

Then got pimple on other side of same breast and a rash that comes and goes.

Have seen one consultant who says nothing to worry about - quick ultrasound and examine says all normal. But I have very dense breasts and would recommend MRI.

I have taken myself off to where a very good breast oncologist/ surgeon runs a breast clinic. He's on holiday but had my MRI. Waiting for results. In the meantime I have a rash on breast from chest down one breast only (the one where spots coming and going). I also had this weird welt on breast that was red and when went down now has a white middle to it - again very small but you can see where it was red and now not. This is next to the red spot.

My questions are: should I push for biopsy when I see this chap - booked in for a week on Monday? Should I see someone else in meantime instead, and does and MRI show up ibc?

Of course I'm terrified and any help much appreciated

Thanks

punch biopsy will settle your nerves....are you sure you were not bitten by a deer tick? Their bites look like targets...this situation is not acting like a typical IBC which is a rash, swollen, painful....not off and on again. But, still recommend you go for your biopsy as if nothing else, you will get a definitive answer. If it was a deer tick....lyme disease...you need to not ignore that either. Don't cancel your biopsy. That *line* makes me think *infection* as would also cause those weird feelings. Whatever it is, you need it checked as to exactly what it is.

Def not bites. So is MRI not reliable? I've heard that depending where they take the biopsy makes a huge difference
