Sad News...Don't know if anyone remembers me...
I don't know if anyone remembers me - I haven't been able to post for many, many months. I joined to support my sister who was diagnosed w/ IBC on Jan. 24th, 2011. She had found my posts, so I became afraid to post so I wouldn't make her (more) fearful. Since then, like everyone else here, we have been through lots more twists & turns along this hardship that I have not been able to share/discuss/ask advice of all of you. In hindsight, I wish I could have. But, life is full of regrets...
I lost my big sister 10 days ago. I am heartbroken, tired, stunned, I hurt everywhere, yet am numb all at the same time. I just miss her so much!
I pray for healing for all of you who are battling this __________ (insert whatever word you'd like to suit your present feelings) disease!
God bless,
Marianne

I am so sorry to hear about your sister's passing. My heart breaks for you. I am fairly new here. I am going through the process of doctors and tests to figure out what's wrong with me. This site and the wonderful people here have been a great comfort to me as well as the best source of good info. I can only imagine how hard it was for you to not post with your questions and concerns. Even the validation of your feelings is an important component of this horrible disease. I'm saying a prayer for you and your family.
Love and hugs, -

Dear Marianne,
I'm so sorry you lost your beloved sister. I lost my beloved sister too on 2/14/2011, and sisters are like treasure in the bank that you think they will be there with you forever. A wonderful close sister relationship can never be replaced. I understand your grief and sadness. I really feel for you, as you will miss her terribly.
