I would like to share my experience with all of you. Have been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer last July of 2011, estrogen/pr positive, neu negative.  Was referred to an oncologist who promptly had a port inserted for the chemotherapy that I had to go thru. I went thru my first round of chemo and immediately I lost all my hair and started feeling very weak. I could not stand it. I think it was very strong for me. I refused the second chemo which made my oncologist very angry. He told me in August 2011 that if I do not undergo chemo, I will have less than 6 months to live. I did not budge.  In my mind I said that it is only God who knows when we live and when we die. My family was begging me to follow the oncologist but I told them that the chemo is the one that is going to kill me.

I asked for divine guidance to look for alternative breast cancer treatments. Someone told me about the book Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillin. It helped me a lot and at the back of the book is a listing of doctors in each state who are complementary doctors. I found one where I live and immediately set up an appointment with him. I consulted with him in September 2011. It was a very enlightening experience and the doctor that I found recommended that I completely overhaul my diet, focusing on vegetables and wild caught fish and eliminating meat in my diet. No sugar,no milk, no alcohol, no sodas, minimal salt, no preservastives, no smoking.  He also introduced me to juicing and what foods to focus on. These are broccoli, cabbage, bokchoy and brussel srpouts, all cruceferous vegetables. He also encouraged me to look at myself and have a forgiving attitude and have a positive outlook of life and to have the attitude of gratefulness.  I cannot forget what he told me. To think of myself as well and never to think that I am sick. He also asked about my spirtituality and told him that I am a devout Catholic and this helped me a lot too. I gave him copies of my diagnosis and he proposed that I have Vitamin C infusion. It started with 50 mg thru IV and  then 75 then 100,000 mg. This was done twice a week. I also juiced vegetables like bitter gourd and broccoli. It was really bitter but I know it will make me well. I  also ate a lot of pomelo and citrus fruits like oranges. I squeezed lemon on warm water and drank it first thing in the morning. I researched on foods and fruits that are high in estrogen and eliminated them from my diet. I loved chocolate and that too has be scrapped. I extensively researched on natural treatments and exercised in the open air and exposed myself to the healthy rays of the sun at certain times of the day.

I told my oncologist what I was doing but he said he does not care what else I do but I have to follow what he orders. The oncologist has ordered armidex but I did not take it because it was causing me pain all over my body. He also ordered falsodex injections which was also discontinued by him becuase he said arimidex is better.

My first Pet Scan in August of 2011 revealed that the CA has metastesized to the lungs which presented several nodules, to the lymph nodes and bones. The second Pet scan in November 2011 showed no improvement. But it did not fazed me. I continued with what I was doing and the complementary doctor increased my VIT C infusion to 100,000 mg and he supplemented it with 400mg DIM. I was coughing badly in November and the PEtscan revealed that I had fluid in my lungs. I asked the oncologist what to do with it and he just said that it will go away when the cancer goes away.He said that most probably it is cancerous also. But I cannot take that answer so i consulted woth my primary doctor and the complementary doctor who are both specializing in  internal medicine. Both of them recommended that the fluid be removed. On Dec 8, 2011, I went to the hospital to have it removed. I gave the attending pulmonologist the xrays and cat scans that I had before the procedure. After the procedure and the tests were made on the fluid that was taken out, the pulmonologist told me that the fluid was not cancerous and the nodules in my lungs are gone. I was so ecstatic and thank God and the Mother Mary. Through all these time, my family and I and friends prayed to God for healing. In February 24, 2012,  I had another Pet scan. When I showed up in the Oncologists office in March 2012 for the results, he was intently loking at the results. He asked how I was feeling and I said i feel great. And he told me to sit down. I feared the worst because of the look in his face. He showed me the the 3 scans, the first, second and the last one. He told me that about 90% of the cancer is gone. I cried and thank God and I now I was granted a miracle. My family and I were very happy and thankful.  Even my oncologist could not believe his eyes. My complementary doctor was very happy too but told me that the more I should be on my guard, to continue doing what I have started and he also recommended Protocel, and alternative cancer treatment so that the reamaining cancer will be eradicated. And I followed his advice. I stopped the Vitamin C infusions on his recommendation as it does not go well with Protocel. I had the port removed because it was giving me pain, The surgeon who placed it was also the one who removed it. She was telling everybody in the operating room that I am a walking miracle. To this day I continue with the Diet, Protocel and DIM. I have added Breast Defend and Modified Citrus Pectin-Pectasol C and I am feeling much much better. There is HOPE FOR ALL OF US. I believe that DIET plays a very important role and Never to give up and maintaining a positive attitude. My Faith in the Almighty God and Believing in HIS power to heal me through the wondrous intercession of His Holy Mother led me to the path of recovery. I have placed myself under HIS care and I am so thankful.

Thank you for this lovely story. I made decision to opt out of further surgery & rads. Your story is inspiring and good counter balance for all the pressure to march in lock step w/ mainstream. Thank you.

    Hallo FICHie,

I can believe that your spirit and attitude helped you through all! You describe the juices...for instance...broccoli, sprouts...bitter gourd. Do you mean RAW??? NOT COOKED. I have heard that bitter gourd is..poisoning..if you don't cook it...

and...how do you blender...raw food? do you add some water? can you be more specific? thank you! your story is really impressive!!!

All I can say is to keep believing, just don't lose hope, there are still many things we can do. The food we eat plays a very important role in our life, we must consider the food that cna boost our immune system. I haven't heard that bitter gourd when eaten raw is poisoning, though it would taste more bitter if we eat them raw.
