Could this be liver mets?

Options

Almost 2 year survivor. Had abdominal ultrasound due to bloating, abdominal distention, fatigue. Ultrasound says Liver: Mild increase in echogenicity. My liver enzymes are normal, so not convinced this would be fatty liver. Will be 3 days before I can talk to my oncologist regarding these results.  Anyone have similar findings or know anything about this?  Naturally, I'm concerned about liver mets.  THANK YOU.

I have liver mets. I didn't have any symptoms at all.    And, my liver enzymes have always been completely normal.  I even had half my liver removed and they are normal!    I wouldn't assume you don't have fatty liver because of enzymes.  If you did chemo, fatty liver is a well-known side effect.  And, lots of people have it and don't know it.

Sometimes the most obvious solution is the right one.  For you, that would be steatosis.  Good luck, I hope you hear good news from your oncologist.  Let us know, okay?

Thank you CoolBreeze. How was your liver mets discovered?

I didn't have chemo. I did have mastectomy. Tumor was 3 cm, invasive ductal, 0 nodes. First oncologist said chemo, second oncologist said no chemo (after Oncotype test) - I went with the second oncologist. I guess I'm worried because I did a google search about fatty liver and I don't seem to fall into any of the norms to have that, i.e. no diabetes, not obese or overweight, never drink alcohol, since diagnosed have been on a very low-fat diet, I exercise 4 times a week, and not on any medications that would cause fatty liver. Also, I have given myself "several" holidays from the arimidex due to side effects, so I'm constantly worried about mets.

I guess I'll know soon enough and in the meantime try not to worry. Best wishes to you.
