Oh yes Rider!! Plenty of room!! Gets a little crazy at my visits so hang on tight!!

My new shrink asked ME what he Could do....said being pissed off is actually expected and a step in the right direction! DID NOT insist I get on prescription meds as I told him how difficult it was to get off those! And...Bonus...his primary language is ENGLISH!!!! He's going to help me with my claim. Something finally went right.

GG...WHERE OH WHERE ARE YOU LOVE????

My shrink and I always have the same conversation about whether to stay on meds or not. I'm happy with what I'm on and have no side effects. Next time we'll have the discussion for real because my antidepressant is what's keeping me from doing Tamox instead of AI. I have osteopenia and a strong family history of osteoporosis. I haven't been depressed in 22 years now, but am in the 90th percentile to have a 5th episode of major depression. What to do? I once went 25 years and was then slammed by 3 in a row.

Hope everyone had a smile today, whether at our expense or somebody else's. Hey, sometimes u take'em where u can get'em LOL

My dr told me i should let my work know just in case of bad reaction so they would know what was happening. Also she is an RN although working at something else now.so she has been helpful with a lot of this stuff.

Pocket bus for Fuzzy. I missed a few days. Work has been crazy. Had an awful migrane yesterday. So bad I thought I was going to throw up. In the middle of a meeting. With execs from Time Warner. Would not have looked good.

Anyway, it's gone. I'm here for all of you!

SAS - good idea about the bios. Although I not sure what I'd write... Bitchy, cranky pocket bus driver from NY????

Tri-staters... Meeting in NY next month? Who's up for it?

Lauren that is an aspect that I didn't think of "That is very interesting "( tone of voice from the guy from Laugh-in late 60's). How would we describe ourselves. We have our pre BC selves and Our post BC selves---Never the twain shall meet. Let's think on this. Jot some things down. Anyone wanting to PM me with a description now Can. Basically you do a post and whomever does the post can enter it at will and revise, add, delete, update I'm a PRO now after several other projects here. The novena starting today I may have entered that post a hundred fifty-175  times for the 60 postings . number truly untold. The point is I can DO IT. It could be alot of fun b/c may be even poke fun in a good way at each other or say good stuffi.e. I just posted on OMG that Veggy is the Master at Pics--give here alead line which I did often, and she will have posts several in a row that will put you on the floor laughing. All from one simple sentence.

Rider--your boss has no business knowing what drugs you are on. Read your company policy on drugs and drug testing. Human resources might have a rule on notification to human resources. But if you are on a legally prescribed medicine, unless you are evidencing signs that it is interferring with your performance, itis none of their business as long as you are following employee polocies.  The problem now is your boss does know and will be scrutinizing every move you make--sorry, but true.  Say you make a bonehead action not on any meds, now that you have told her you are going to or have started taking these new meds---that bonehead action is going to be blamed on the drugs rather than it was just a bonehead action. Now I know this will make you worry, but you need to read your company policies fast AND you need to find an outside of work confidant if you feel you need a resource person. I'm sunk i wore out The C&P mechanism. Trouble in river city. Gotta go. L&H's sassy

Oops. I wasted another day. However, the good news is that I got some prescriptions refilled and xanax was among them. Now, usually I am bugging the pharmacy a week ahead of time to get it refilled. This time the pharmacy notified me it was ready for refill. I still have half a bottle of last month's rx. So that made me pretty happy. I'm still pissy about my neighbors not trying to help me when I had that awful cast on my arm. I saw the next door neighbor today and I went off on him a bit. I really did not want to give him a hard time, but it just came pouring out. Hell, he knew he let me down. I could tell my the sheepish look on the face and the hesitant way he said hello to me. He said he hadn't seen me in a long time and I told him that's because I hadn't been here. He said he wondered. I kind of put my hand on my hip and said to him, gee Dan. You're the one who is supposed to come check to make sure I'm not dead in here. Oh well. If the smell of my decaying body floats through the wall separating us, maybe he will check then. Fucking people! Oops. Scusey the language. I'm still working through the anger. I have issues with betrayal, and I seem to feel this was a major betrayal.

So, hope I get to the gym tomorrow. Plus I have to get more serious with my diet. I had lattes the past 2 days. Coffee is too acidic to make a habit of. I swear my left boob feels weird. Sometimes it feels like a lump. All I can think is that I am not going through all this crap again. I'll pull out my laetrile and start taking that. Yeah. That's a good idea. Then, if it is cancer, I can find out if laetrile really causes cancer cell apoptosis. I like that word: apoptosis. Pop, pop, pop. Pop them into oblivion.

We're having a big storm now. I took 2 xanax, which I have not taken for a while, so hopefully I will calm down and sleep. Hopefully you all sleep well too.

Dune...that is a tough one. I ended up having to withdrawal off two meds and placed on others because I am on Tamoxifen.

Sassy, many medications will interact/interfere with the purpose of Tamoxifen and it seems that many docs do not look Very closely at this....I ended up with a medication management MD and that's how I found out..I was shocked.

Crapity crap crap....I know there's more I wanted to comment on...memory isn't with me today for some reason....

SAS, I take bupropion and it cuts metabolism of Tamox in half. So you only get half as much as prescribed.

Wren interesting (to others reading this that's Wellbutrin/Zyban trade names). When I" failed Chemo" no one wanted to figure out why, when I failed arimedex --no one wanted to figuire out why, when i was showing the same intolerance to femara, I found a drug interaction checker from  Genelex. It showed a drug interaction between cytoxan and norvasc/amlidopine  and norvasc and all the AI's. I then found out that info was available on the drug interaction checkers at the hospital that took care of me after my only chemo almost killed me. All they had to do was an interaction check. It was available at the pharmacies that filled my first AI, then the 2nd AI. I had to find it myself. In my case norvasc potentiated the drug affect which means I got more from cytoxan and the AI's.

I have no understanding why the pharmacies have the interaction checkers and don't use them. The expenditure each year b/c of drug interactions is milions and millions. Hospitals will have contracted to have several within there facilities, but they don't use them.. I could tell numerous stories of drug interactions that I caught b/c I studied the drugs when I was a practicing nurse. But I never was an oncology nurse. So, my knowledge wasn't strong. I too much depended on my care team to protect me from harm. After I found Genelex That didn't happen again. AND I could go on and on about liver pathways and genetic testing. When i brought it up to my MO he dropped his jaw and said I don't even know that . Six months later one of the nurses in the center said "we just had a seminar on genetic testing and that in the future patients will have to be tested to see if a drug works. HMMMMMMMMMMM

Fuzzy sweetie must read and concentrate--need you to do this luv sassy repost from bonfires:

Linda , I did something with PINKTOBER REVOLUTION  That may help you , could make BCO crazy. There was much good discussion going on, and many people offering links. Well too often when a page turns those links are gone Badger had suggested we should somehow try to save them. I did the prayer archive on the Catholic thread . Voila or is it Viola- nope she's my Aunt. Did an archive thread and going to move all the links there under categories. It's started & under construction. Somehow there  has to be away to apply what your saying to the same concept. The problem is if we each did it that would take up alot of server space--if that's the right word. But say if there was a thread where you/me didn't mind putting our favorite links we could post our links in case we lost them, we would have a retrieval point. The negative/neutral/positive/ would be anyone going, to that thread could see your favs.  Me --I don't care , I think . I travel among the same. In fact a bunch of us do. What  I did on the header for Catholic Archives and Catholic intentions was add the links to the other two in the header, Asked Lauraestepp to add it to her header for the discussion thread. Now we can travel between the three without going out to main fav places, to favs to thread. This is all very new. When I tell Fuzzy about it.She will jump on it i know b/c she is on FRR, here, OMG She can put all her favs in her header.  if she does it will be realy nice for the rest of us too. So, I'm going to C&P this to FRR. Everyone will be looking for your post and saying --whatpost of Linda's is she responding too. Hey it's on BONFIRES.

So good Sassy - I did not get in, have been scattered but meant to pm you, will be thinking of all though.

Dunes, glad you got a good night sleep.

Fuzzy, from 2 pgs back, I would 'try' your DH's chili but I like mine sweet, I even put a can of country baked beans in and lentils, black beans, red beans, grilled onions, a huge hunk of ground chuck cooked right in the sauce and beans, and seasonings, but not fire breathing dragon hot like his LOL.  Some description.  September I will make chili again.

Ice cream, no butt farted stuff.  But I like anything with caramel in it.

Going to work here at office at home today, then call and make dr appts with some like-minded docs who are MDs so ins pays for them.  Helping daughter move to her new apt tonight, Hubby picking me up after work, daughter is divorcing and so excited to go out on own, she never really had that independence, am happy for her.

Sassy, imo, links need to be both live and in the http://www. form so one can right click and go or copy paste, it gives tem reference to find the source when needed if that page is no longer live too.    You are a good organizer.

Off to work, that means not looking at bco pages hahaha... just in same chair, only writing something else I enjoy, it's an easy life for now.

    Good morning all!!

SAS, if I post my favorite links, those are just mine....I would never want anyone to feel separated because I posted links that they may have had a bad experience in. For example...the cold cap user gals ripped me apart for commenting on their thread...too often this happens and can make us feel hurt....I know I was...so, I try to keep thing simple and all inclusive. Safe and open to everyone. Less complicated...more for all. That's the way my crazy nugget works anyway. I have nothing against the cold cap users....I actually looked into it pretty seriously...when my doc gave me warnings, I shared them and that's when I became a target. So, I apologized and never (ever) went back, went bald, and moved on: ) Big lesson learned.

I feel that I have full pockets today!! Heading out soon...MUAH MUAH MUAH!!! XOXOXXXXOOOO

went to ent today. it turns out that when i took my fall i broke one of the bones in my middle ear. i could do surgery or wear a hearing aid. for now i am going to try the hearing aid. surgery has a twenty to thirty per cent failure rate.  it sucks, but it is what it is.
