My tumor markers are now normal!~

Options

I get frustrated sometimes when I see that people have posted things but never posted the outcome and it's kind of like "what happened?" so I just wanted to post a follow up.  My bloodwork results came in and my tumor markers dropped to a 2.1.  They were at a 2.8 last month after previuosly being in the 1's --doctor says there isn't cause for concern right now and scans (which I coudln't afford anyway!) aren't needed; they will repeat them in a month.  They sometimes see them bounce .  At the time, I was being treated for lyme, so who knows why they may go up and then down.

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!

Very considerate of you to post this new good news.  It's much appreciated, and I too agree with you, very frustrating to read a post, feel their concern and/or fear, and then never find out how things went.  So happy your's is good!  Stay well,

    Linda

Oops!  I meant they will repeat them in three months at my usual visit.

Yes, I wanted other people, if they searched for cea number info, that the nurse said that they can and do bounce around depending on what your body's doing at the time.

but the past three weeks have been intensely stressful at times.  Some days I could forget about it but these past few days have been agonizing - I was so afraid she'd call and say they had doubled or something.

I hope next time I go to find that they are down even from where they are now.

awesome news! I got the results from my MRI and its messed up 5 ruptured discs a hemangioma which is a benign tumor, a cyst, and the start of a fracture.  The crazy part is on my history they didn't mention my bc so I'm still hoping it was read correctly.  I had them fax the report to my oncologist and I see the pain management Dr in the Morning.  Thanks so much for posting about your results I have been thinking about you.  I still can't post from my desktop not sure what is up with that.  I can only post from my tablet. Congrats again!!
