ptdreamers - My MO has suggested Prolia for me. Almost 60, menopausal for years, natural. Osteopenic b4 Femara. Had bone density done b4 starting and it was unchanged from last years. How are you tolerating it and how often do you have to have it? I see him again first part of Sept. and I think I need to decide.

Finishing giant Dr. Pepper from Jack In the Box. 101 today. Wine sounds good but need wits (such as they are) about me for paperwork.

Okay I'm in having Gin and tonic---likely will be up most of night until novena started. Anyone wanting an intention PM me. I was pretty discouraged last night b/c of stuff and their was an exchange of posts on the catholic discussion page that just made me cry. I will go get the link and bring it back. It started with mkkjd60. 4 post in all her/me/her/me. It's moments like that, that make all the work  worth it. I have to go get the pg link and will edit

    http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/38/topic/738190?page=291#idx_8722

PTd we would be a pair with the hearing. mines basically been life long. Do you have tinnitus? Were you here when I had Musical ear syndrome after crani--brain sx. It's a few pages back. My PCP had it too postop from neck sx.  I believe the AI's can wreak havoc with all body parts Remember the ear has small bones the stapes, anvil, and one more. Ai's cause ostopenia(lack of) and osteoporosis(demineralized holey thin bones). It's not on my sideffect list, but you could google--"hearing loss and osteoporosis "'  or: "can osteoporosis cause hearing loss"

ProudtospinYou gave me an idea. You are new ---welcome BTW  and trying to figure out who's who and who has what(not BC stuff that's on bio). ok ----go to all

TO ALL we have been together since Fuzzy started the thread. What if we did a short Bio of ourselves as much as we each want to share. Pm it to me.  I'll put it together in one post. Then when someone wants to join us we can say see pg___ and it will give you a little bit about each of us. It's a bit daunting to figure out who's who when you join a new thread. Just even keeping screen names and real names straight BTW proudtospin some members never share their real name even in pm's. Each description would be as much as each wanted to say. No real structure. Enough to make someone new feel welcome. sassy

Essa  & fuzzy Thanks about the novena  The mods said it was off topic. My insomnia thread header even says as Fuzzy's says "There are no rules" mine also says"just play nice".

Good luck Sassy. That's a lot of organs to check.

Dunes Thanks my friend. They are all hurting since post 24 hrs after the shot.--plus that's standard when it's ordered as upper abdominal ultrasound----which is what you should ask for, even if they are really interested in one organ b/c it puts the sonographer in a bit of a bad situation if they see something that should be evlauated fully. A good sonographer will go out and call the doc But if it's ordered the way I said above the whole thing is covered.

I've written an employee health manual==had to research allot--any  complaints (medical usuage) that occurs within 2 weeks of an immunization is required by law to be reported with drug name/ manufacturer/ lot number/ and exp date to County Health Dept., county notifies State HD, state HD notifies CDC. The law doesn't much get followed. I even asked for it to be done. PCP is great, but the only way to catch a problem with a vaccine  is cooperative tracking.

Ridergirl I did some work on a pain mgt thread, I'll see if I can't bump it and will send you the link by PM. My work was mostly on how not to get addicted, there was other stuff too, but forget. If I took it out of my favs, it would be a problem to find. Basically, the questions are >> chief complaint(why are you there)>>Location-where is the pain>.onset of first symptoms--give the story short and fast, to much detail they stop listening>>>radiation--does it go anywhere >>intensity-scale of 1-10>>-Quality-burning,throbbing,squezzing>>Quantity--how often--how much>.>Aggrevation and alleviation- what makes it worse--what makes it better Attempts to modify symptoms----what do you do --rest, pace, massage, pills what has been tried, how much , how often.

    http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/8/topic/770655?page=1

rider--this link is going to take some time to absorb. It's not likely going to help tomorrow, but put it in your favs to study later on. The questions tomorrow are more of what's going to happen. I'll send this to your PM too sassy

    No!

I'm so upset about other things. I feel like taking an anti-anxiety pill.  I could rip someone's head off. Tomoorrow's oncologist appointment might just fulfil that need. I might just tear her head off instead. They might just commit me to the loony floor.

fuzzy, good luck tomorrow. you are such an inspiration woman! going in for a lumpectomy and only casually mentioning it the day before. I'd have to be sharing it all over the place looking for support. How about I jump in your pocket? I hope to gain your inner strength before I throw off this mortal coil.

pt -- my thoughts continue to be with you. How are you making out with only one hand?
