Side effects 65 Grays
Hello, I have a friend with breast cancer and she is now looking for information about radiotherapy. She have a mastectomy done, and she just finish the radiotherapy. But the doctor now wants to continue with radiotherapy. She has received 50 grays (her skin is burned, she have pain and it is treatment in this moment with 12 mg of morphine). Her doctor wants continue until 65 grays. She wonder about the side effects of this radiathion dose (65 Gy) and the difference with 50 Gy.. If anyone know this side effects (over lungs, arm, lynphoedema or others)of to be treatment with 65 Gy I would be very grateful for the information. Thank you.
