Please move me from the maybe list to the yes list. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
-
Unless something serious happens, I will be there...move me to the yes also.
If anyone is close to me and needs a ride please say so...I am in Lagoon City, Brechin, close to Orillia Ontario,....one hour from Whitby.
-
Just a FYI it is booked for the 19th under bc.org as the reservation name. I told them the current number, but told them it make flux up or down a bit (just in case anyone can't come, or can make it afterall). New additions are MORE THAN WELCOME... Just post here and I will adjust it as needed closer to the time. Purely for the sake of having seating situated.

cuter...I met with Joanne on Monday and asked her if I should get some name tags. She suggested I ask you in case you had already gotten some. Please advise
-
I was thinking of name tags too...good idea. How many are for sures???
-
14 at last count I think
-
Yes, I would advise to have name tags so we can write our screen names and real names.
-
Current "Yes" is 17, with a couple maybe's as well.
I've keeping an eye out for LARGE ones to accomodate both names but am hitting road blocks. Most are puny little things. That said I had it down that Joanne was grabbing them and only looked starting when she said she might be a bit too tired but slowed up when she said she was a sure thing again.
I am hunting down something entirely different. *soft smile*
Here is the list as it sits.

Cuter, I couldn't remember but that is no problem. I will get them for sure ....
-
Joanne...OK then, you are getting them...let me know if you can't find any...I was gonna try Staples...the dollar store didn't have any....perhaps WalMart?
-
Just get address labels. They won't ruin our clothes.
I'm excited to see that I'll see some of the ladies that I've lunched with over the years, but SO many new "friends" to meet!!! Now my family can't tease me that I only have virtual friends....hehehehehe
-
I have regular address labels that are 3 1/2" x 1". I can bring them if they will work....have lots. Another idea: Post it notes, they stick nicely & come in lots of sizes & colours. i have 3"x3" in yellow & some pink.
-
Isabelle, if you could bring the post it notes that would be great .. They would work great .... Thanks. Looking forward to meeting you all. Scottiee, Shatzi, sandy and I had a rehearsal last Monday and had a great time.
-
Hi Joanne, I heard about the rehearsal ...wish I had been there. Will bring the post its for sure. If I am tired,( by then I will be on rad #9), but not likely, my DH will drive me. He won't hang with us though..lol
-
hrf, mumito and I had a rehearsal on Wednesday just to make sure my social filters were in place. You can dress me up, and yes! You CAN take me to Whitby!!!!
-
Joanne..in hindsight...lucky they didn't ask us to pipe down and we were only 4!
Milestones needs to be warned.....
-
I will vouch for Barbe. Looks like I will be a yes as well. Milestones does need to be warned. HA HA HA
-
I can only imagine !!!
-
Just to confirm - it's this Sunday that we are gathering? I'd hate to turn up the wrong day!
-
Yes !!! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
-
I'm looking forward to it too.........even though I'm not attending. I appreciate the fact you are meeting at the east side of TO but it's still too far for me to drive there and back the same day. I hope you girls have a blast.
-
Would love to see some pics of your gathering!!
-
Anyone need a ride? I am on #12 at Brechin, outside of Orillia. Just me and (maybe peach pies) in the car. If I do get them made we will need disposable small plates & forks. Anybody got some kicking around?
-
I am having a party the day before so I will have some ... I will bring them for sure if it means a piece of peach pie.
-
Ok... I think I have the current list... *grin* Glad you can make it mumito! I will include it below so it is current.
As for warning to Milestones... I wouldn't worry too much about that. It's been home to more than one of my own "Girls Nights" and we can be rather loud and rowdy when we've gone too long in between. They just smile at us indulgently and fawn over us. *grin*
Besides... That particular Milestones has seen a fair amount of interesting behaviour (their Wednesday date night gets a bit of action at times...). The girls and I had dinner and a show last time. If the lip locking is allowed we can be as rowdy as we want I think.
Ok... So...
Isabelle has the post it notes for name tags covered.
Joanne - Camera... You said you have one right? Mine may as well be a glrofied door stop & I also have plates & forks handy (party in May) so if you need me to bring some just let me know.
Me... Not telling what it is but I am bringing... Something. *grin*---------------------------------------

Yes I will bring a camera but please some else too just in case I forget ...:)
-
I will bring mine Joanne------ are we going inside or are we sitting outside? I have never been there...
-
Trying to figure out my driving time .... How far is Whitby from the DVP and Danforth?
-
Um... Just a guestimate but 35 min give or take 5 min if you make it without traffic.
Some of us drive a bit faster... Some a bit more in line with the speed limit... So that is my guess.
*Looks all innocent knowing she's made it all the way home in about 35 min from there and it is another 10-15 minutes to home...*
Darn speedometer must be broken again.
As for inside or out... I really didn't specify with the reservation. I suppose we can opt for outside if the majority wishes, but that is a hard choice to make not being sure if anyone if on medications that make them sensitive to the sun.
-
To be a party pooper ... I have to be inside. I am so heat sensitive that I have to be inside with air conditioning.
