We always view the world through the lens of our own experience, don't we?

After seeing all the heartbreaking pictures of how animals are kept before slaughtering, I became a vegan. I feel so much better now - physically as well as mentally-
-
If it flew, ran, walked, swam or crawled, I want it. I feel strong, healthy and nothing is quite as good as animal protein.
"Athena" the omnivore.

This kind of made me chuckle. I love cows....can't eat 'em. My hubby always makes fun of me that I'm probably the only person on earth who thinks an animal that craps on it's babies is cute.

a 'friend" on fb posted a reuters article on a "new" formula for specifically tripple negative breast cancer (whatever that is) & any breast cancer which has mestaticised: formula contains: 3 kinds of mushroomsa; trqamdes versicolor, ganoderma lucidum, phellinus linteus. sculellaria barkals, stragalus menbaraceus, curcenis longa, & Diindolylmethane (a cruciferous compound). probably got some spelling wrong when copied it so fast
-
Triple negative breast cancer is cancer that does not have hormone receptors (ER & PR) or HER2 production.
-
hers 2 production is the "breast cancer gene?"
-
No, BRCA 1or 2 is the genetic mutation that a small percentage of women have that increases the odds that they will develop breast cancer. HER2 is a protein, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2. It promotes the growth of cancer cells. Triple negative bc can be very agressive so your somewhat callous comment with respect to triple negative, "whatever that is", is a bit insensitive.
Caryn -
I think I probably have tripple possitive, & I expect tripple negative is difficult to treat because hormone blockers are innefective? my maternal aunt had breast cancer as a young woman, a masectomy then marriage & 2 daughters, & the cancer returned & killed her when she was in her forties 20 years later. I don't know what kind of breast cancer she had: a year & a half ago I didn't know there was more than 1 kind
-
Just a thought, Abigail, why don't you ask your onc what "kind" and stage of breast cancer you have?
-
don't got no onc. donwan no onc. it's quite apparent what kind I have, & it seems that the "new" tier of "bityh control pills" are indeed less toxic. In my searches on this forum I've found perhaps 3 nposters who have the same va4riation of ibc as I do. one is/was a woman in her 80ies posts by her daughter in law, said she had had 2 "bundles" removed at some dpoint, I had to go down several pages to see what bundles were, there was all kinds of pink ribbon type "bundles" but they are indeed cysts, risen & with inflamation upon them. another was an indian man, east indian I think, & perhaps 1 other. most on the ibc fora are afraid, but turns out they have something else, no cancer usually. so the people who took the first tier of pills are about all dead, whether from cancer or not, & the oncs who treated them are mostly dead too from old age or whatever. this is why this type is so rare
-
Abigail,
Am I understanding you correctly in that you have self diagnosed your bc? Including the type of bc and hormone receptor status and HER2 status? Forgive me if I am wrong but I just wanted to clarify that. Caryn -
got it. for more information, earlier info, checkn out the locked forum peole who have only used alternative treatments.
-
Abigail, in that earlier thread you said you had had no xrays, no biopsy and no surgery or other treatment.
Has any doctor of any kind examined your cancer? -
Abigail,
Are you from Arkansas?
-
don't get it noself? ? ? I was born in sf ca in 1937, traveled a lot, lived in a number of states & countries, & moved here to a hamlet, probably, not sure, 150 population in 1974.
no one has seen this vey ugly "bundle" (I guess, except me. after 6 months of looking at it I got in touch with a naturopath via the internet. she put me on a homeopathic protocal which I still do. I'm in touch with her, if hou can call it that, with a once a month realmail to which she does not respond, as she said she wouldn't, but I wrrite out the realmail in longhand, then type it for her, so I have a record of the progress. her, or somewhere I read that the usual progression of this is 6 to 9 months to death. but also that with old people the progression is more slow.
of course I have no idea of the stage, or if it's tripple positive. to find out I'd need to travel (not far) to a micropic office, let a stranger touch me have x-rays (which I believe cause th mets), a biopsy (which is contraindicated as the skin there is so delicate, & It's already breached once, boy was joy lies beneath a help with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!infusion (s) none of which am I willing to do. on my own I also drink olive leaf extraction, as well as tthe homeopathy protocal, juice, now 2 to 3 cups fresh a day instead of 1.........in fact time for olive leaf drink and a mega green tes

abigail48,
I asked because I have someone who emailed me in a similar situation as you. I haven't heard from her in a while. I was hoping she was posting on this board and she was you. I encouraged her to at least see a dermatologist to rule out other problems like a fungus infection. I haven't heard from her since. Perhaps it was some sort of skin infection that is now cured. I hope so.
Best wishes to you in this difficult time.
-
I see. no this hamlet is in the catskill mts ny
-
Abigail, unless you see a doctor, you don't know what kind of cancer you have, or even if you have cancer. It's totally possible that you don't have cancer and you are bending over backwards for nothing. Or if you do have cancer, you are busy trying stuff that won't work (I.e: avoiding estrogenic foods is useless for a triple negative person.) And X-rays don't cause the disease to spread.
-
once again what is your livlihood, sweetbean? if not in the medical proffession why do you post conventional medicine stuff on theis alternative fora??
I've known x-rays cause cancer since the fifties, my parents were friends with a radiologist who told us not to use those machines everywhere in shoe stores. I was anoyed because as a painter I was fascinated at seeing living bones
I have had for a year ane 5 months now all the classical symptoms of that kind of cancer except death in 6 to 9 months
-
& I guess everyone has now heard tell of the oregon study which found that infusions cn cause dna changes which can cause re-occurrance. & thats the first line of defence for my type.
-
I've been reading and following this whole thread and now I just wanted to say that abigail48, how could you say you have any kind of illiness let alone cancer if you haven't been seen by a doctor? I'm chinese and we practice a lot of herbs as med but the herb doctor still need to see us and give us a check up before giving us anything. What do you mean machines in the shoe stores? I'm really confused as to how to came to the conclusion that you have breast cancer! Maybe you could start from the beginning of explaining about how you come about this conclusion. Most of you posts I cannot understand, are you from the US? (someone asked you that and got somewhat of uncleared answer), is your first language english?
I'm not judging you but just trying to understand how you know you have breast cancer and that you're going to die in a few months, is that your conclusion? That you have cancer and you're going to die in a few months and you haven't had any doctor examine and run any kind of tests on you to prove that you have cancer? My head is spinning in circles trying to figure you out. Am I the only one, ladies?

Here is a link that discusses the x-ray machines that used to be common in the shoe section of department stores in the 30s and 40s. My brother and I would entertain ourselves by sticking our feet in the box in order to see the bright green x-ray of the bones of our feet. We did this every time my Mom took us shopping. Nobody thought about the danger, but they were finally outlawed.

Soyaandpepper,
No, you are not the only one. But this is life on the Internet!
Caryn -
again soyaandpepper (nice moniker) see the locked forum: survivors who have only used alternative therapies (or like that.). my first, & alas pretty much only language is englich, english major at univercity in fact, married to a poet for a time, live in upstate ny.
how do I know? big red place on the cyst I got almost 50 years ago right after using mexican "birth control pills" in 1964. place growing. (alas) but much slower than I would expect from what I've learned here. I hope to beat the odds for longgevity with this, already have according towhat I've read,
again, has anyone followed the oregon study on "chemotherapy"? it was on cable news & then gary mentioned that giving infusions after infusions to people with ned is just experimenting with hyou.
-
abigail
