How long to get spinal biopsy results back?

I had a biopsy of my T11 vertabra a 10 days ago. Should it take this long to get results? I can call my onc but if this is normal, then I'll wait another day or two.

My other test results have come in much faster, but it was my understanding this would take longer. I usually ask when I get the test, but I forgot this time.

    Well I'll reply to my own post so others have this info. It took 12 day (10 business days) to get the results. And they were negative thank goodness. Yippee!

    So sorry no one answered Annie. That's a really long time but so happy it was good news! Maybe that's why it took so long. I remember my very busy onc telling me that he has two piles on his desk. The good news pile he leaves until later and the bad news pile he makes calls on right away....he made sure I knew that if I didn't hear from him within a few days, it's a good thing. Happy for you!
