OncoLinQ ASCO s Cancer Tool could be used for Metformin

Options

CancerLinQ is a rapid learning tool that wil use electronic medical records to inform in real time the 97% of cancer patients who are not in clinical trials what drugs are working for their subytpe of cancer

Many cancer patients are using off label drugs or cancer drugs approved for other cancer types or new combinations of these. CancerLinQ would inform all cancer patients in real time when these drugs are working, thus speeding up the discovery process.

Metformin is a good example of how CancerLinQ might work.

All the women taking Metformin on this discussion board could register with CancerLinQ so all the data is captured accurately and the results shared with everyone. We may find Metformin works better on certain subtypes of Breast Cancer or in combination with other drugs.

ASCO is using CancerLinQ  (not OncoLinQ)  first for Breast Cancer.
