Back into the waiting room....again

I am heading into my next round of appointments---I get checked every 6 months for both followup to breast and cervical cancer. I have had lower back pain throughout most of my diagnosis and treatment. I have had scans etc--there was no indication of mets. My last Onco appointment 6 months ago--the lower back pain was still there and Onco said it was up to me to have another scan--I chose no as I had just had one a few months before. I will have to say Yes, to the scan next time as my lower back pain and aches along my ribs is not getting any better--I wouldn't say that it is getting worse--pretty much the same. I know that it could be related to many things including the fact that I was forced into early menopause due to rad hyst -- thanks to cervical cancer. However, seeing a new requisition with "rule out mets" on the reason -- makes me worried.
