Tamoxifen/Zoloft and Radiation combination
I was told that Zoloft affects the effectiveness of Tamoxifen, then Tamoxifen affects the effectiveness of Radiation treatments.
I am stage 4 and not keen on stopping the Tamoxifen.
Anyone heard anything about this?

You may be interested in reading this research news story Breastcancer.org reported on in February of 2010: Taking Antidepressant with Tamoxifen Reduces Tamoxifen's Effectiveness. Also, the Tamoxifen page from the main Breastcancer.org may shed some light on how Tamoxifen's effectiveness can be reduced depending on certain drugs you're taking -- and there's a list of drugs to avoid while on Tamoxifen, too.
In addition, two questions from Breastcancer.org Ask-the-Expert Conferences give professional opinions about taking Tamoxifen during radiation and hormonal therapy during radiation.
