Oh NODE! My palpable node scare and crazy cause

This is a new one.

Sometimes when I get my hair colored my skin will get a little itchy. Somehow this turned into follicle that was so badly infected it was becoming an abscess on my scalp.

So on top of this a node on my neck swelled up and I started freaking out.

I emailed a picture to a primary care doc who said I really needed to see a derm for the scalp, and one derms office started talking oncologist on the phone.

But it turns out that the infection on my head had moved into the neck node!

That was one ginormous freaking node on my neck...walnut size.

Freaky huh?

They gave me two little steriod shots for the abscess and more yummy Levaquin.

Something told me to start levaquin on Saturday and the derm says it was a good decision.

So we are all very relived, who the heck knew a nasty follicle could do this.

Still have to have it checked in a month.

Hopefully this won't turn into neck LE, it the big infection is on my healthy side, there is a smaller one on my cancer side.
