Manual Lmphatic Drainage in Bucks County PA Stacy Blaine LE/ PT
Hello Everyone
Feel a GREAT NEED to put this information out here to all of us struggling to find GREAT LE/PT care while we are hanging in between LE/PT evals between insurance coverages on an outpatient basis.
I have been blessed to find Stacy Blaine LE/PT while in the acute phase of a Truncal LE Flare at my local community hospital. She is now in private practice/ not accepting insurance. 1st visit is $30.00. 2nd is $60.00. She has seen me thru a most difficult ordeal, has me in great compression gear and UNDER CONTROL. Also is very talented in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, teaching the technique, scar release and cord release, monitoring and assessment of LE.
There is a great need for care in between bouts of acute flares , while we receive Complete Decongestive Therapy ( CDT ) in a hospital or outpatient setting. After we are discharged we are often at a loss to find a LE/ PT for monitoring and just to have a LE/PT perform MLD and give oneself a break. I hope that one day our medical system sees the need for this ongoing assessment and care! Most insurance covers 6 month re-evals and no ongoing care. Sadly this falls on all of us out of pocket.
Stacy Blaine LE/PT main focus is in Breast Cancer patients. She works in a Lymphedema center, and treats the multiple medical conditions that also cause lymphedema. She holds a PA Physical Therapist License, a PA Direct Access Physical Therapist License, practicing since 2006. Certified Lymphedema Therapist Certification, LANA Certification ( Norton School of lymphatic Therapy 2006 ) , Affiliate Member of the National Lymphedema Network, Business Licence, Liability Insurance.
Stacy recommends that you still see your regular LE/PT every 6 months. She is available to assist us with volume reduction/ maintenance in between those 6 months. She is available on weekends if your therapist recommends such. Also she is available for palliative and home bound patients - dependent upon distance.
You can reach Stacy at 267-901-4035

Hoping that you all may find assistance and relief in dealing with your LE. And that I may Advocate for all of us in getting the care we NEED.

Thanks for the info - I think there are some folks in the Bucks County PA region who are paying out of pocket, and looking for a therapist.
What does the group thinks about members posting names of therapists that they recommend? KS1

Brazos, my LE therapist is an LMT/CLT-LANA and can't accept insurance, and is worth every penny. I see her twice a month for maintenance.
She's in RI, and is amazing--and I've seen a lot of lousy therapists with good credentials
Several of the women on this forum have seen her former partner, who was also trained by Klose, she doesn't have internet, but is in NYC

(212) 396-2350I know we're not supposed to advertise on the boards, but I think sharing our resources isn't advertising. It's testimonials and help.
There used to be a greater Boston LE network and they would put out a list of LE therapists, and it was so helpful. They seem to have disbanded, too bad.
Recently we posted a list of therapists in the DC area, it was slightly out of date, but a good starting point, I got it from a blog.
So glad you're doing well.

I say post, we post names of oncs and surgeons all the time...heck I would say let the LE's advertise as long as we can post reviews
