    I'm 25 with 4 kids, 2 are 9 month old twins and still nursing :) a few months ago I found a lump that I believed wasn't feeding related, it was just so out of place and no matter what i did there was no change in shape or size. so I went to my doctor who confirmed my belief and sent me for an ultrasound. The lump didn't show up on the ultrasound though they did detect a prominent duct. My doctor was away on holidays when I went for my scan so it took her almost 2 months to finally check the results and rang me out of the blew saying that I needed to see her asap as she was sending me to a surgeon. I'm hoping that my results are b9 but it is so hard to not stress out! Being young i assumed that my scan would show nothing, maybe just a cysit her phone call came as such a shock. Anyway thanks for listening :)

    Good grief, hearing back two months later! That is outrageous! I am so sorry you have had to go through that. When will you be seeing your doctor? Tomorrow I hope! It sounds like you may need a biopsy. As scary as that sounds, the vast majority of biopsies come back benign. Hopefully yours will too. Let us know how things go!

    I saw her today, thank goodness! although she has referred me to a breast surgeon for the biopsy and when we tried to make an appointment they said he is away on holidays, hmph im just not having any luck with medical proffessionals at the moment, the radiologist was away sick the day i had my scan, my doctor was on holidays when i needed my results and now i have wait again for my surgeon to get back from his vacation and unfortunately i live in the country so there is only the one specialist =( the not knowing is driving me insane!

    OMG carlz 1 specialist, does everyone holiday at one time where u live.? After all that waiting time I would have assumed everything was fine, then after 2 months u find this out. Wow they are putting u through the ringer in just waiting. Well all I can say so any come back B9 especially at u'r age so I certainly hope that's u'r case too. Let us know
