    Just read this. I had three large babies and I was not overweight at the time...but all these stories make my head spin.

    I am 76 years old and had a 10 lb 10 oz baby 40 years ago.  I had (all removed) DCIS grade 1, 9mm by 4mm.    

    However, I also have Type 2 diabetes.  Now, I do think that is related.  Maybe the high circulating blood sugar levels are related to BC as it is to diabetes.  That might be the connection.

    I had three large babies, but my fasting glucose is 80...no diabetes but they say it has something to do with estrogens...

    Yep, saw that. My first and only child was 11 pounds (5kgs) at birth. She was born on her due date and I did not have gestational diabetes.
