Being at home I have spent way too much time surfing the web, looking at sites for other women with IBC. I won't lie when I say that at times, I read these wonderful women's stories, starting from the first post, grow to ove their spirit and then realize that the majority of the time, the ast post I see is telling the reader how this courageous woman passed away. Anyone out there keeping a blog or FB group or anything? I started my own... www.bluecollarlesbian.blogspot.com ... Called Living with IBC (because I really woud like to think I will continue living with this, even if it is stage IV). Anyone else who has a blog, please share, because I am tired of reading obituaries.

I don't mean for it to sound like I don't value those women's stories, but I really would like to see more from current survivors. It's scary enough thinking how short a time we have... it would be great to read some happy stories from women with IBC who are beating the odds and how they are doing. BCO is great. I am glad I found it.

Hello! I have a blog, well, I don't write in it all the time, I am getting ready to try and write every week, but if you are interested in my IBC journey, you can read my blog at juniandterry.com. I hope you find it encouraging and life giving. I try to be very honest and write about the good and the bad of IBC. If you check it out, please let me know what you think. I hope this message finds you well. I was just diagnosed last Dec. , so I am a newbie really. Just beginning the journey. The number one thing I have found for me is acceptance. I try to stay in the day, and fill my heart with love. I also am a member of inspire.com where there are wonderful women there as well......not so many that have IBC, but a few. I find inspiration on there, and that is what I need most right now! Take care of yourself, and surround yourself with positive, life giving, loving compassionate people. Xox

Thank you Juni... I will certainly give it a read tonight after I get done mowing the yard. I like having something to look forward to after playing in my weeds...lol! Smile
