In October all of my breast issues began.  GYN found lump in left breast after I complained of tingling and discharge from that side.  I have hade two biopsies and 4 US on that breast.  Nothing on the right.  I have no symptoms from that side, but was thinking that was a bit strange.  Anyone elso only have one breast checked out instead of both?

Sorry, it's Friday.  I am bored and have been wondering about this for a while.

Hi AKC- Im going through the same process right now with my R Breast. It has had discharge and pain, I've had an US already and it should nothing but they only did about 5 minutes on each breast, which I still dont think it was right, Im going for a second opinion right now at another hospital. SO hopefully come monday I will have some answers.

All of my issues were on the right...I'd already had 2 mammos, and 2 biopsies.  When I had the consultation with the breast surgeon, I started off with "well, if I'm going under general anesthesia for an excisional biopsy, we better make darn sure there's nothing on the left that needs to be looked at as well".  She was totally in agreement, and the MRI of both breasts didn't show any additional areas that needed attention.  However, I had no lumps or other symptoms...just microcalcs.

I am in the same boat, all my issues in the right breast only.  My one and only MRI  (in April) was so comforting, because I always wondered how the left side was doing, I felt like I was neglecting it.  But, while it had denser tissue there were no problems.
