I guess the subject line says it all.  The day was spent quietly with my husband and a visit to my Mom.  Couldn't be better!  Wishing happiness and health for all my BC sisters.  G.

Actually I goofed.  It's next month!  Well, I'd claim chemo brain but it's probably just my usual absenmindedness.  Maybe I just wanted to hit this mark so bad I anticipated.

Tomorrow, I go for bloodwork, and end of July get my next Zometa infusion.  Maybe it's the anxiety of that dreaded onc visit.  Who knows.  Anyway.....All is well.  Hope you are all doing well, too.  Thanks!  G.

Hi Gitane, congratulations on 6 years and 11 months. Remind me what your treatments were?

Hi Racy, I had 6 rounds of dose dense AC (4 before and 2 after surgery), no rads, then Femara (still on it).

Hopefully a cure soon so we no longer have to monitor these milestones!!!!

I think of you (and several others) often as I remember the first time I got here....5+ years ago, thinking I would never make it.

10 years for me. Still on Femara and now getting Prolia for my bones. Was on Zometa but my insurance would only pay for once a year. Got a really bad cold in December with lots of coughing. That lead to 2 broken ribs and lots of tests. But in the end the ribs were broke and there was no new cancer. My bones just need a little help.
