I have read some of the wonderful words written on this site.I know that this is for breast cancer .I had I.D.C. still going througyh reconstruction and waiting for onco.dx test results etc. But I would like for all of you that will please pray for my daddy. He has always been my inspiration and he had his first chemo treatment yesterday for multiple myolma. He is in too poor of health for transplant. I am soo sad and my heart hurts . Breast cancer was scary and depressing but I handeled it better than I am this. My youngest son(15) who my dad adores is now not sleeping and angry too . He is a sweet child but I think he has about had his limit and I understand. Thank you for the prayers and for allowing me to vent. It really does help to write it out. God bless all of you.

I'm sorry to hear about your father and I know just what you mean about your son. My son was 18 when I was first diagnosed and he acted very angry. Recently I heard from one of his friend's mothers how worried he had been. Teen boys do not know how to express themselves very well when they are scared and worried. Men are just not as verbal as women, in most cases.

Elaine,
Prayers going up for you, dad and also for your son as he is having a hard time understanding it all and teen years are hard anyway.
Praying for speedy recovery from your recent surgeries too!

Elaine,
Yes, God is good...I will keep you, your son and your daddy in my prayers...I found out my mother had emphysema about a year after I was diagnosed and I think I handled my diagnosis better than finding out about hers...Sending hugs and prayers...
Hugs and God Bless,
