Pennylane and Shannon--How awesome, love hearing the inspirational stories! My sister is TN and just went for her 4 1/2 year check up and all clear. So great to hear this thing is beatable!

Congrats to you both. It is always so uplifting to hear such positive news. Thank you for taking the time to share it with those of us walking the same path you both did. Long and happy lives to each of you.

Thank you , ladies!! And congratulations!

That is such good news for those of us still undergoing treatment. Once women are through with treatment they tend to not come back here so often so we never hear of the success stories.
Could you brief us on the treatment you had lo those 7 years ago?
-
Sure! I had a lumpectomy, then 6 treatments of TAC. Taxotere, adrymiacin, Cytoxin ( if memory serves). Then radiation. No medication, but I get a mammogram and breast MRI every year staggered every 6 months. I try to eat healthy but the main things I have changed in my everyday life is that I only do fat free dairy now and I exercise a lot, 5 days a week.
