good swim form?
I think I need a swim form, but I am shocked at the prices. I can't pay so much for something I will only use for a week.
So has anyone found anything that works under $30 each?
I have tried the scrubby thing and it is painful, just the thought of a scrubby near my skin makes me wince.
Does anyone go flat to swim?
I wanted a suit with a little ruffle of ruching, but that is not happening (can't find one).
Thanks for the help!

I purchased a tankini and bikini from hapari and i purchased their silicone breast forms 19.99/pr and they fit into the pockets and work great
I also bought pillow stuffing put that ithe pocket stays well and isnt heavy when wet i swim everyday ... Good luck -
I got a mastectomy swimsuit from Land's End. It was on sale and very reasonable (good, because I will probably only wear it once a year). It has a ruched top which does a good cover up job, and I think I could get away without wearing any sort of swim form or bath scrunchy. Just checked the Land's End website and it is still there and on sale now (altho more $$ than when I bought it) - check the mastectomy special swim sizes, and it is the "grecian" style suit. I had a UMX and my remaining boob is not big (36A), so this may not work as well for larger cup sizes. If the bath scrunchy is uncomfy could you try stuffing some pantyhose (or something like that) in the mastectomy pocket, would dry pretty fast I should think, and fill out the pocket. I think if I had had a BMX I'd go flat for swimming and beach. Good luck with finding the right suit and form. Jo

I had a Bilateral mastectomy and did not have my reconstructive surgery until 18 months later. I am a swimmer and I swam flat. Did not have any issues. After my reconstructive surgery I am back swimming. Try not to worrie about it. I find most poeple didn't even notice.

Try the Amoena 126 leisure form. It takes a long time to dry, so it's good to have more than one. When you get out of the water, wrap a towel around yourself and with your arms under the towel, press your arm on the form to get a lot of the water out. They are light, so they can ride up and you might need to adjust things when you get out of the water.

Thank you all so much for the information, I did fine a bathing suit much like the lands end one, A Caribbean Joe and Boscovs. The only problem is there are no pockets. price was great $40, but no pockets. sigh.
Mostly I am concerned about sitting around time on the beach. I am not a swimmer, I plant myself under an umbrella and I want to feel good about who i am. Well, that sounds vain, I am no prize and I just don't want one more thing to shift, peek out or go wrong.
