for some reason it worked this time...I did not do anything differently
-
From the local newspaper. Editor says photographer dosen't know what kind of bird it is.
-
Lisa - love the pictures. Makes me want to move to Maine, might be a good place to at least visit while it is so hot here in NC. It is not supposed to get this hot here, that is why we move here from Oklahoma!
-
LOVE the coloured bobbers still!!
Chabba that bird looks RUSTY!!

each time I post a picture is a new challenge..
-
Thought I would post some raptor shots that my DH has posted recently.
The redtail Hawk and the grey Hawk

There is only one thing to say about tinyfishy's pictures. BEAUTIFUL!!!
One thing I have been wondering about, is there any story behind his signature line?
-
He is the all time best bird photographer, period..
-
Chabba - My son says your bird is a band tailed pidgeon. It's molting which may be why the color is a little off.
-
mumito, Stunning pictures!

Not much action at the beach, but I just noticed that we are on page 777. We should have noted that on 7-7! (I love quirky things like that)
-
And we love quirky you, too!
-
I like patterns in numbers, like yesterday when my odometer read 83938. When DH and I planned our wedding I would have suggested 6/6/66 but my DB was in boot camp and coulden't get home till August so we married 6/6/66.
-
When did you marry chabba?
-
8/6/66, anniversary 46 is next month.
-
Congrats! Now don't edit your first post or people will wonder why I asked, but you put the same date in...
-
chabba, we were married 8 months after you...

Hi Beachy's.....Sorry I have been missing the fun. I'm back at work & it's been really hard. Then I started Radiation this past Monday....4 done & 29 to go! Not soon enough too as I seem to have had a SE hit right out of the starting gate & an uncommon one too! NAUSEA! I hate it! I don't want to eat or drink. Having to force myself to drink at least. I'm taking Zofran since Tuesday & tonight is the first time I ate a meal all week. Feeling a little better, still pretty icky though! 5 weeks to go!

julz----------that sucks! Re: nausea SE..... Hope your body will adjust & stop that nonsense!
-
((julz)) When nausea hits stick to homemade soups.Try and get alot of rest.Take extra care of your skin daily.((hugs))
-
Thanks Eph & Mum! It's a little better this morn. I actually ate something!
Mum your right the soup did help yesterday. This all blindsided me as I didn't know this was a SE....well mostly it's not usually.
Chabba cute pic!
Have a Wonderful Weekend Beachy Friends!
-
Julz - I also has nausea when I had my radiation. Later in the treatments I got the hiccups! They would last for anywhere from 30 min to a couple of hours! And they were the kind that really hurt and everyone would just start laughing cause I couldn't stop. There was some stuff that was only referred to as "Magic Mouthwash" that helped. I still don't know why they call it magic mouthwash because you swallow a teaspoon every 4-6 hours. I have been done with radiation for almost a year and I still get hiccups on occasion, but at least I have gotten used to the laughter.
