Shoulder pain, Night sleeves

I use a Compresleeve at night, which has fit me well.  It is a shade bulky and I have short arms, so I'm thinking my shoulder pain is largely due to the weight of the sleeve.  It is firm, so my arm is fairly straight all night, and I've tended to rest it on a pillow to keep it slightly elevated.  Without the pillow, my arm drops down a bit too low and then my shoulder has been pulled even worse.  Is shoulder pain common for those of you in a night sleeve?  Am I overlooking something here?

KC--I got a frozen shoulder after my broken hand, and I wasn't able to wear compression, but did elevate it at night. It would make sense. I saw PT for a bit, got myofascial release and exercises.

I've noticed when sleeping in my Jovi (aka the ovenmitt) a bit of shoulder pain. My Jovi is made with a bend in the elbow since I sleep with my arms bent most of the time, which helps but there is a big difference between sleeping with it on and without.

I don't have any REAL experience at this ladies, but I noticed when my rib pain is worse its because of the swelling - when LE therapist got the fluid to drain yesterday it was better... Could the fluid be pooling in the shoulder area?? just curious...Trying to soak up all the info I can..
